From the moment Ben from Lavenham Photographic arrived while we were getting ready, to well after our first dance, he was an absolute joy to have around. He has this incredibly welcoming, inviting personality that instantly put everyone at ease. He kept the entire day running smoothly, ensuring everyone knew exactly where they needed to be and when, all while keeping the vibe completely happy and calm.
Ben was the definition of professional, but what we loved most was how collaborative he was. He was so open to our suggestions and made sure we got every single shot we had hoped for. He even went the extra mile to check the lighting and whisk us away to capture the most stunning sunset photos—a major highlight for us!
We recently received our gallery of over 900+ beautifully edited photographs, delivered in fantastic time. The download and sharing process is incredibly easy, which has made distributing them to our friends and family a breeze. Everyone is having the best time recapturing the magic of the day.

Candice Sent on 26/08/2026Ben Captured the heart and soul of our wedding weekend
Ben did not just do our wedding day photos but came to our Friday evening pre wedding black tie event also.
From the moment he arrived he took charge, in a good way, making sure everything was perfect. He captured all the important moments and also captured the fun, smiles and laughter from the night. Ben went over and above in coming back for an hour later that evening, so he could capture the singer we had booked, which was not part of what we had agreed. He felt it was important to get her involved, see the guests up dancing and did this off his own back and did not charge us.
The pictures in the rooms with both bride and groom were perfect, and he took charge of setting the space, evening tidying up and helping where he could.
The wedding was captured perfectly, from getting ready, to guests arriving, to the ceremony itself. The organised photos were sored well, not rushed and all guests we made to feel relaxed. He took photos of anyone that asked, as well as all those great action shots and interactions. He captured the speeches really well, and the evening photos really highlighted the fun and laughter that an evening party generates. Ben interacted with the guests throughout the whole event, making it less formal and more fun.
Overall Ben and his photos were perfect. This was a present from my Mum, as we initially didn't think we would need photos, but wow were we glad we got this. No guests could (or should as they are having fun) ever capture the heart of the day as Ben did.
Great person, great photos, great service from start to finish. Thank you, Ben, for being the icing on the cake from our wedding weekend.

Fabulous Pictures!
We couldn’t be happier with our decision to use Ben for our wedding! From start to finish, he was absolutely fantastic. He managed to capture all the special moments completely unobtrusively, and the final pictures are beyond fabulous—everyone who has seen them loves them too!
Gathering and organizing guests for photos on the day felt like herding cats, but he calmly took charge, found everyone he needed, and made sure we got every single shot on our wish list! His friendly, warm nature put us and our guests instantly at ease, and we’ve had so many compliments about how brilliant he was. We can’t recommend him highly enough!Lavenham Photographic's reply:

We hired Ben for our wedding and he was an absolute star! Straight away from meeting Ben he helped us out with a wardrobe issue as I had forgotten my tie so stole my brother's, Ben kindly offered his to my brother and proceeded to take his first photo's of the day!
Ben was professional and easy to get on with, he made the photography feel like a breeze, Always never letting a moment go to waste, Ben was on it, from capturing great facial expressions to the big group moments, you could tell he was passionate about his work. We felt at ease knowing he would capture our day.
We received the photos back yesterday and they are just an amazing quality, I would have happily paid twice what we paid Ben for the work he has output. If we ever need a professional photographer again, Ben will certainly be our first port of call and our highest recommendation to others! He is the ninja you’ll want at your wedding
This guy is incredible. Super nice, talented and professional. His photos are GORGEOUS and he was everywhere capturing every opportunity. I can’t thank this man enough.
He made the process simple and easy (only needed to give him a list of all the group photos we wanted) and that was it. Came early on the day and cracked on. He even lent his tie to the best man as my husband forgot his 🤣. Amazing value for money. Thank you Ben!Lavenham Photographic's reply:

Incredible photographer!
Ben photographed our wedding at Holmewood Hall on 14th May 2026. He was such a big part of the day, but we also barely noticed he was there at the same time. We certainly aren’t normally naturals in front of the camera, but Ben made us feel so at ease all day and we have the most incredible photos to look back on, including of all the big moments and the smaller, more intimate details which he captured. Ben wasn’t just a photographer, he was helping transport things around the venue, fix buttonholes and round up the bridal party. Even our guests thought he was brilliant and were on first name terms with him! From start to finish, Ben was so informative and professional. We had some beautiful sample photos through just the day after the wedding and not long after that we received the rest of the photos. We couldn’t recommend you enough Ben - thank you so much! -

Ben was the perfect wedding photographer for us. He put us at ease instantly and made the whole experience so much fun. Ben was incredible from start to finish — professional, warm, creative, and so easy to be around, which made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera.
He captured every moment so naturally and beautifully, from the big emotional moments to the small candid details we didn’t even realise were happening. The final photos are absolutely stunning and tell the story of our day perfectly. We’ve had so many compliments from family and friends about how amazing the photos are.
We are so grateful to have these memories captured so perfectly and would recommend him without hesitation to any couple looking for a truly talented wedding photographer. -

Ben was our wedding photographer for our big day in February 2026, and we couldn't be more pleased with our choice! We initially chose Ben as he was recommended by our venue (Gosfield Hall) and we loved his photo style when looking through his portfolio. He was also very reasonably priced in comparison to other photographers we considered.
From initial contact and throughout Ben was friendly and professional.
From attending other weddings as a guest or bridesmaid I have often found photographers to be quite pushy and particular about timeliness etc, but Ben fitted himself into our day perfectly. He was a really positive person to have with us on the day, and was able to calmly and politely organise our guests and our wedding party for photos (not easy to do!). Neither of us are people who particularly enjoy having our photos taken, but Ben made us feel really comfortable and allowed us flexibility to take breaks if we needed.
The final photos are more than we could have dreamed of- absolutely gorgeous and completely captured our day.

Ben recently photographed our wedding and he was absolutely fantastic - polite, quick, professional and unobtrusive. So many of our guests specifically commented to us at how brilliant they thought he was. My husband and I are not natural in front of a camera, but Ben's photography made us look like models and we are so pleased with our photos. Ben really put the cherry on top of our perfect day and we really cannot recommend him highly enough. -
