Recently described as "a photographer extraordinaire"
With a blend of creative artistry and photojournalistic precision, documenting events with a focus on preserving authentic, candid moments that tell a story.
Weddings, events, festivals, local gigs, business, engagements, promo shots............
I work with couples who care more about being present than performing for the camera. The big laughs, the happy tears, your mates losing it on the dance floor, your mum fixing your outfit when no one’s looking — those are the moments that matter years from now. My job is to notice them quietly and capture them naturally, without turning your wedding into a photo shoot.
Most couples tell me they were worried about feeling awkward in front of the camera — and then later say they barely noticed I was there. That’s exactly how I like it. I’ll give gentle direction when you need it (especially for group shots and a few relaxed portraits), but the rest of the day is about you enjoying every second, not posing through it.
I photograph weddings across Durham, the North East and further afield, and I take on a limited number each year so I can give every couple the attention they deserve — from helping with timeline tips before the day to delivering your photos quickly after.
If you’re planning a laid-back wedding and want photos that feel natural, joyful, and true to you, we’ll probably get along brilliantly.
