Hi, my name is Anthony of Anthony Tanton Photography, a wedding and portrait photographer based in Leicester. I’ve been capturing important milestone moments for couples for about 5 years now, and I love every moment of it.

The ultimate goal is for you and your partner to have an amazing day, creating memories together and living in the moment, celebrating one another without the pressure of feeling as though you’re being recorded and in front of the camera all day.

My approach to photography is very much fly on the wall documentary, capturing moments and emotions, little glances and even those goofy joke exchanges without getting in the way. Even when it comes to more posed parts of the day, I like to get you situated somewhere with a lovely backdrop and give you a prompt to get you interacting with one another instead of with me, so even in those posed sections, you’ll remember being with one another instead of where your arm was placed or where you were looking to hold your chin just perfect.

I love working with couples who might feel a little more nervous in front of the camera. By the end of the day, you shouldn't notice me there too much at all!

Wedding day coverage starts at £1,200 and includes full day coverage - from the getting ready moments with hair and make-up, right through to the moments you don't want to be captured, like when that one uncle puts a tie on his head as a sweatband on the dance floor... This package comes with a password-protected online gallery so you can easily share it via socials of the family and friends WhatsApp group, the gallery also has an easy download option so you can download your images to keep forever. The gallery stays live online for up to 12 months after the date. Images are typically delivered within 6-12 weeks depending on the size of the celebration and time of year - busy season, unfortunately, means a slightly longer lead time to account for more days shooting and fewer days available to edit. I do send out a 'sneak preview' of up to around 20 images in the week or so after the celebration with some key images, so you're not waiting long to share those key moments!

From there, I build everything around you and your partner, your plans and your celebration, so you get a package that's just for you with everything you need and want, and nothing you don't!

My most recommended extra is a couples engagement session. This helps us get to know each other a little better and gets you both comfortable with me and the camera, so come wedding day, we can hit the ground running, and you know exactly what to expect! Not to mention you'll get some gorgeous images to announce your engagement or to use for your Save the Dates event!

Next up after that is adding on a second photographer for the day, this means each of you will have a photographer with you to capture your moments of preparation, individual portraits, even wedding party portraits, to have those stories converging at the ceremony.

Another addition might be an on-the-day sneak preview of 6 or so images that you will receive edited on the day during your wedding breakfast to share to socials or with those that can't be there on the day.

You can also add in wedding video services, album production, and prints from small postcard sizes right up to ready-to-hang large format canvases to remember those moments in the day-to-day.
