We hired James for our wedding party on November 30th, and he was absolutely brilliant! From start to finish, he kept the energy high. What impressed us most was how accommodating he was, every request, from special songs to last minute changes, was handled with ease. He perfectly balanced crowd favorites and personal touches, creating an unforgettable atmosphere. Our guests had a great time. If you’re looking for a talented, professional, and friendly DJ, we can’t recommend enough!

The Crescendos played at our wedding in September 2024 and were fantastic!
James was excellent to deal with, always quick to respond and very flexible in the approach.
We shared a playlist for the DJ part of the night to give James an idea of the music we and our guests like.
The dance floor was literally never empty (we even had people dancing before the first dance when the band were just sound checking). From that moment until 1am, the dance floor was never empty - which was exactly what we wanted!
We had 2 band sets, 1 set with DJ and sax and then 2 DJ sets and they created a fantastic vibe! We can't thank them enough for playing their part in making our big day just incredible!
We've had so many messages from our guests and they all comment on how great the music was!

Wedding bands for hire (James) went above and beyond my expectations of what a wedding do/band would do.
No request was too small and they really listened to what we wanted for our day.
We had loads of communication and they advised that we could have as much input as we wanted.
My husband is a huge music fan, so this part of the day was really important. So we opted for a mix of our favourite tracks, plus some input from our guests and said that any requests on the night were fine.

On the day, they came and set up on time! And started the party with the best vibe. The saxophone was amazing! And everyone commented on how much fun it was and that it didn’t get in the way of the night - it only added to it.

My guests had a lot of requests!!! And James made sure to ask me first on how I wanted the night to pan out. We opted to let the requests flow and everyone was on the dance floor all night!

James and The Crescendos played and DJ'ed at our wedding 11th May 2024 and they smashed it out of the park!! They even created and played the perfect first dance song which was a blend of both acoustic and rock versions of 'I believe in a thing called love' and they truly. Couldn't have nailed the brief better!!! The band members are lovely and really engaged with our guests and kept the party going! We've had so many amazing comments on the band and how wonderful they were so if youre thinking of booking, don't think just do! You will never regret that decision! These guys were absolutely fantastic, we had so many people come up to us and tell us how amazing they were. They sang our first dance for us and gave us an experience we won't forget. They were all so friendly and engaging. We had such a lovely night and these guys definitely made the evening.

From the very beginning James was very flexible with providing a band that suited our needs. He went above and beyond to make sure the set list and musicians were everything we wanted. James was beyond reproach! From the initial telephone consultation, to the day itself there was nothing that was too much trouble for James. He took the time to help create the perfect music list, took requests, and made sure he adapted the playlist all night so that the dancefloor was always full. If I ever get married again, he will definitely be the DJ again!! haha

To be quite frank…unequivocally superb. From start to finish highly engaged manager who listened to every detail and also provided innovative solutions to his Client. There are no words to describe how incredible The Crescendos were from Wedding Bands for Hire. They made my last minute wedding dream of a karaoke hour come true, performed two amazing energetic band sets that had everyone on their feet, did a surprise DJ and sax section and then DJ until the end of the night. Communication was amazing from start to finish and they really did make our day so special.

We found James online and he was fabulous, so easy to talk to, very reliabl, so down to earth and made our wedding the most incredible wedding ever, the music was amazing and everyone loved it , the wedding was wild and the music made it even better! James understood the assignment extremely well and I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone else! Wish we could do it all over again!!

When booking our entertainment we got quotes from alot of bands. There was somthing about the helpful vibe we got from James and we really enjoyed the process. He shared ideas and created a custom package based on the vision we had. There were a couple of things about the evening he mentioned that we wouldnt have thought of.

In December, we had The Crescendos. They did the four musician rock band followed by DJ and saxophonist. To our surprise the saxophonist even played some songs with the band too which wasnt agreed. The whole thing was amazing and varied the evening for all our guests, just perfect.

If you are finding it hard to decide on evening entertanment, I highly reccomend booking this band, they are truly amazing and such nice people to have as part of the wedding. Thankyou James and his team xx

We had the Crescendos for our wedding and they were fantastic.
From the planning stages, James was always quick to respond to emails and was very accommodating in terms of the type of music and band we wanted and even arranged for a second DJ to to play later as we had a late bar extension.
On the day, the band were amazing, they got everyone up dancing and dance floor was full all night. Our guests raving about them as well!
