You can choose anything from a DJ to a 14 piece luxury showband. We have popular packages on our website but we often build custom packages
How far in advance should I contact you?
Typically couples book entertainment 12 - 18 months in advance. Occasionally some of our acts are available at shorter notice

Is it possible to request something that's not in the repertoire?
With the band, we have many songs that are rehearsed, tried and tested. If a song you want isn't on our list we may charge for the musician's time for learning and rehearsal

Our team are full-time professional musicians, which means we put our time into planning for perfecting your big day. With 10 years of experience, you can relax knowing your Wedding is in safe hands
Do you have your own equipment?
Yes
Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?
Yes, a dry environment due to electrical equipment. If outdoor we need stage shelter
Can you travel?
Yes, we are happy to travel anywhere in the UK, we are based in West Yorkshire
Is there a charge for travelling?
Yes, this depends on the specific musicians/band line up chosen. We base this on each individual enquiry
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
Yes
Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?
With a team
What is the length of time of the act?
This depends on what DJ/Musician/Band line up you choose. However, many couples choose x2 45 minute sets and a DJ will perform 7pm until midnight
How much time do you need to prepare for an act?
Again, this depends on which line up. As as example, a DJ with a basic setup can set up in 30 minutes. Our 4 piece band in 90 minutes or our 7 piece band would ideally be 120 minutes
Do you do open-air acts?

How do you charge extra time?
This depends on the DJ/Musician/Band chosen
What are the forms of payment?
Payment link for deposit and payment link for the final balance to be cleared before the event date. A really easy and secure process

Best band ever
We hired the band for our wedding celebration/ party. They were so professional from start to finish. They were super flexible with what we wanted, and also took requests on the day.

Best end to a Wedding you could hope for!!
James and The Crescendos played and DJ'ed at our wedding 11th May 2024 and they smashed it out of the park!! They even created and played the perfect first dance song which was a blend of both acoustic and rock versions of 'I believe in a thing called love' and they truly. Couldn't have nailed the brief better!!! The band members are lovely and really engaged with our guests and kept the party going! We've had so many amazing comments on the band and how wonderful they were so if youre thinking of booking, don't think just do! You will never regret that decision! Thank you James and The Crescendos!!

Outstanding
These guys were absolutely fantastic, we had so many people come up to us and tell us how amazing they were. They sang our first dance for us and gave us an experience we won't forget. They were all so friendly and engaging. We had such a lovely night and these guys definitely made the evening.

A-MA-ZING wedding band!
From the very beginning James was very flexible with providing a band that suited our needs. He went above and beyond to make sure the set list and musicians were everything we wanted. They were absolutely amazing on the night and sounded fantastic. They got everyone up and dancing and so many guests said how great they were! They absolutely made our evening! We couldn’t have asked for anything more from a wedding band! We would highly recommend Laura and all the musicians to anyone looking to hire some live music. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Perfect! Amazing service
James was beyond reproach! From the initial telephone consultation, to the day itself there was nothing that was too much trouble for James. He took the time to help create the perfect music list, took requests, and made sure he adapted the playlist all night so that the dancefloor was always full. If I ever get married again, he will definitely be the DJ again!! haha

Sublime performance, absolutely recommend
To be quite frank…unequivocally superb. From start to finish highly engaged manager who listened to every detail and also provided innovative solutions to his Client. The live set delivered in spades with quests enjoying the guys audible guitar pleasures. This team simply ooze potential and it’s clear they delight in the mastery of their deep musical talents. Would vehemently recommend to anyone based on engagement, sublime guitar riffs, range and choice and also value for money. This really capped

The most incredible wedding band you could wish for!
There are no words to describe how incredible The Crescendos were from Wedding Bands for Hire. They made my last minute wedding dream of a karaoke hour come true, performed two amazing energetic band sets that had everyone on their feet, did a surprise DJ and sax section and then DJ until the end of the night. Communication was amazing from start to finish and they really did make our day so special.

Utterly fantastic from start to finish
We found James online and he was fabulous, so easy to talk to, very reliabl, so down to earth and made our wedding the most incredible wedding ever, the music was amazing and everyone loved it , the wedding was wild and the music made it even better! James understood the assignment extremely well and I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone else! Wish we could do it all over again!!

Amazing DJ, Singers and Sax.
What a night! It kept our guests on the dance floor and there was something for everyone with two sets. James listened to everything we asked for and nailed the timings for our first dance and getting everyone to the dance floor right right on que. He had prepared all the playlists for our night and switched things up whenever we wanted anything different. They were all so professional but at the same time it felt like we just had some awesome friends singing, dancing and jamming the sax and DJ with us. I think some of our guests were a little curious when we said we weren't having a typical wedding band but all the amazing comments we got at the end of the night made clear we made the right decision. We are planning when we can book them next. Thanks so much guys. You were amazing!

Incredible
The Crescendos played at our wedding last weekend and were incredible. The vibe they created was amazing and the dance floor was genuinely never empty for a minute.
James- drummer and DJ is a great bloke. He kept in contact with us in the build up to the wedding to make sure he knew exactly the kind of music we'd like on the evening.
The band are exceptional and have helped us to create the most amazing wedding party memories. We highly, highly recommend and are very grateful for a fantastic party!

Great DJ & Sax
Great service from the very beginning. James always called on time, they arrived on the day promptly, dressed accordingly. Ben on sax is excellent, so many of our guests commented. Ben even learned a very special song that we had requested. We would highly recommend these guys to anyone looking for a band / DJ /Sax.

Made our night, incredible
Wow! We booked The Crescendos for our wedding and they blew the roof off! Absolutely outstanding. We could not fault them. Incredible musicians and fantastic vocals. The dance floor was packed all night long. The songs they sing are perfect for a crowd. Everyone at your wedding will know a song and have the chance to dance the night away. I would book them again in a heartbeat. Thank you for being so brilliant, you made our night.
