DJ James was absolutely incredible from start to finish and played such a huge part in making our wedding day perfect.

Not only was he our evening DJ, but he managed the music throughout the entire day, creating the perfect playlists for every moment and making every transition feel seamless. He also acted as our MC, delivering every announcement perfectly and keeping everything running smoothly. He looked so smart and professional too, which really added to the occasion.

When it came to the evening reception, he absolutely nailed it. The music was spot on, he read the room perfectly, and the dancefloor was never empty all night! Our guests had the best time, and we’ve had so many compliments about the music and atmosphere.

We honestly couldn’t have asked for more from a wedding DJ. James went above and beyond, and we can’t thank him enough for helping make our day so special. We would recommend him to anyone looking for an exceptional DJ and MC for their wedding!

We are SO glad we booked James to be our wedding DJ. He was a consummate professional who gave us exactly the night we wanted, including our must-have tracks and doing some outstanding mixing (The Lonely Island to The Northern Boys to Charli xcx was a particular standout, as was the incredible opening mix of New Order, The Cure and Joy Division). He was so accommodating of all our requests, and even provided an outdoor speaker so we could have our first dance outside. James' DJing absolutely made our wedding, and we and our guests had so much fun. Some of my favourite memories of our wedding were on that dancefloor! We'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ than James. James was incredible from start to finish. His communication was great from the moment we appointed him… always professional, organised, and genuinely invested in getting everything right for us. He played throughout our entire wedding day, from the ceremony, through the wedding breakfast, and into the night, and he kept the atmosphere going all day.
We had a couple of calls with him beforehand to talk through our music taste, and he completely smashed it on the day. The dance floor was buzzing all night, and so many of our guests commented on how good he was. We would definitely recommend James to anyone looking for a talented and genuinely brilliant DJ!

We had James for the whole day so we could utilise speakers and microphones for the ceremony and speeches which was mega helpful as we were getting married in my in laws garden.

James absolutely made our wedding. We had such a laugh and the music was absolutely on point. He made the atmosphere so fun and relaxed and so seamlessly slide from reception to dinner to dancing, and it was clear he was having as much fun as we all were! He is so creative, and 100% got the vision from the few inspo songs we gave him. He read the room perfectly on the night, and made sure the dancefloor was always full. He even produced a little personalised track as a surprise for my husband, based on a very niche ask - it was better than I could have ever imagined. We cannot wait to throw another celebration so that we can party with James again!

We have had James DJ for us twice in the last year, my son‘s wedding and also our 30th wedding anniversary. We are a social couple and go to many different events during the year and I can say without contradiction that James is the best DJ we have seen. He manages to keep a party going for hours on end changing the music and capturing the mood of the room. We would highly recommend him for parties, weddings and corporate events as long as you have the energy to keep up with him on the dance floor!

James is a fantastic DJ and the music was brilliant. His communication on the run up to the wedding was excellent and he took time to understand want we were looking for. James DJ’ed at our wedding and did a brilliant job for several reasons.

I am a DJ myself so I am very careful about who I trust when it comes to music. I also had a little anxiety when I realised that our venue uses a sound limiter. When I got in contact with James he gave me full confidence he would extract the maximum from the venue (and sound limiter) and he stayed in contact with me before the day when we started to arrange finer timings and requests.

Because James understands his equipment and clearly cared about making sure our guests would have a fantastic party he went to the effort to trial and error the best position for speakers in our converted barn venue before the music started.

Over the course of the evening I couldn’t have felt more at ease that our party was in safe hands. James absolutely smashed it by taking some songs that I had collected together beforehand and then moulded this to the vibe of our guests on the day.

During the evening I kept receiving compliments on James’ behalf about the music selection and it was a non-stop party from first dance to last song. *Everyone* danced and I knew I had made the right decision in booking James.

My dad also sings at our family parties and James got him involved much to our guests delight!

Since our wedding, several of our guests have directly asked me how they could book James - which says it all really.

The music is a key part of the Wedding day and James is a reliable and flexible choice for that. I will not hesitate to contact James again. Thank you for making our day fantastic.
