Based in Nottingham, Melody Flyte is a jazz and vintage wedding singer with a unique offering for your magical day.

Rich vocals and vintage style are combined with popular, classic songs of the 1930s-70s to add to a memorable experience for your guests.

Accomplished in a range of styles, including church classical, jazz & swing, rock'n'roll, Broadway, and vintage pop and soul, I can accommodate most song requests and design the music of the day around you.

All of the above can be performed on my own with a speaker system and high-quality backing tracks.

In the church, I can also perform alongside an organist or pianist.

All the Jazz & Swing can also be performed alongside a jazz trio (piano/guitar, double bass, drums) - together, we form the Melody Flyte Quartet. We play all the classics and also some more modern songs in a swing style. We can play background music for the reception or wedding breakfast or offer an all-swing set for dancing.

I can attend for one part of the day or all of it!

For a church service, I wear a simple, modern wedding outfit. For the Reception, I can dress for 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s or 70s - if there is no particular theme, I recommend that I wear a 50s cocktail dress for an added touch of class, suitable for all genres of music that I perform.
