The night the party didn't stop
At my own wedding at Berkeley Castle, the band called me the night before to let us know that their singer was too ill to perform. So I stepped up and sang with the band... at my own wedding! I'm sharing this because I'm genuinely happiest when the music keeps people on their feet, whatever it takes to get there.
Who I am
I'm Leo Live, a live singer and multi-instrumentalist based in the Cotswolds. I can perform solo as a one-man band with a huge, upbeat set of rock, pop, Motown and dance crowd-pleasers, or bring in a full band for a bigger sound.
Either way, you get a proper PA system and lighting rig as standard, full Public Liability Insurance, and a performer who's done this enough times to read a room and adapt on the fly.
As a regular on the county's theatre and festival circuits, I also work regularly with a trusted network of other musicians, so if you want a bigger band, a different genre, or specific instrumentation, I can tailor the line-up around you rather than the other way round.
What it's like working with me
Every couple gets a proper video call before anything else - not a form to fill in, an actual conversation about your day, your music taste, and the moments that matter most to you.
From there, I build a set that's genuinely yours, not a fixed playlist with your names stuck on top. For solo work, I don't need a live soundcheck either (I know my own sound levels by heart), so you won't have a band clattering through a soundcheck in the background while you're trying to enjoy your drinks reception or speeches.
I can cover your whole day, from acoustic background music during the champagne reception, a live first dance where I can learn your song specifically for that moment, the father-daughter dance, and a full evening set that fills the dancefloor and keeps it full. I also cover DJ and MC duties between live sets, so you don't need to book that separately - one less supplier to coordinate on the day.
Beyond the wedding set
Outside weddings, I front The Bowie Band (an 8-piece David Bowie tribute) and Sweatband (an 80s anthems band endorsed by Radio 2's Vernon Kay - see the video) - so if a straight-up anthemic 80s party, 90s party, or Bowie tribute set is more your vibe for the evening do, that's on the table too.
I also run Country Hoedown nights with live line-dancing instruction led by my wife, 'The Texas Cowgirl', who is originally from Texas, if that fits your theme.
I'm also the founder of tuneriver.com, where couples can commission a completely original, personalised song - a lovely option for a first dance, a surprise for your partner, or a gift for parents on the day. Careful though - this always brings the happy tears (see the videos for more).

Keeping the day running
- DJ & MC services between live sets and during intervals, so you don't need a separate DJ booking
- Full band arrives 2 hours ahead to set up; solo set-ups take 1.5 hours – either way, I fit around your venue's timings

The best country Hoedown duo you could ask for!
From the moment we started planning, Joce and Leo were exceptionally professional, flexible, accommodating and incredibly easy to work with. They offer fantastic value for money and, most importantly, they made a huge contribution to making our event such a success. We had around 200 guests and received so many amazing comments about them throughout the evening.
Joce ran all of our line dancing sessions and was absolutely brilliant. Our guests couldn’t believe we had a real Texas Cowgirl teaching line dancing in the English countryside! She has such a wonderful way of making everyone feel at ease, particularly complete beginners, and somehow manages to make the whole thing feel fun rather than intimidating. She took the time to get to know people, remember names and really connect with the dancers, which made the sessions feel incredibly personal.
Leo is a fantastic performer and kept the atmosphere going brilliantly throughout the night, seamlessly switching between live country music and a brilliant playlist between sets. Together, Joce and Leo bring such genuine Southern Texan charm, warmth and personality to an event. They don’t just perform — they really become part of the occasion.
Another huge bonus is having them work as a duo. They are incredibly self-sufficient, take everything in their stride and make sure everything runs smoothly, which makes life so much easier for the event organisers. They genuinely couldn’t be more professional or personable.
Our guests had an absolute ball, and Joce and Leo helped create a really special and memorable night for everyone. We honestly couldn’t have asked for anything better.
We’re already planning our 3rd Annual Hoedown and can’t wait to have Joce and Leo back with us next year! 🤠❤️
