Java are an exciting Plymouth-based duo with many years of gigging experience in various bands; they are actually a professional duo who are no strangers to entertaining the crowds! Performing songs from Aretha Franklin, Maroon 5, Adele, Queen, Tina Turner, Jackson 5, Bruno Mars, Dolly Parton and many more, Amanda Hutchings on lead vocals and Nick Jones on the guitar and backing vocals will offer you the best show to entertain you and your wedding guests.

Services offered

They will create a customised package to guarantee your wedding goes smoothly; complemented by their top of the range PA system and laboured with love backing tracks they are the perfect act for any occasion! For example, package 1 includes 2 one-hour live sets and package 2 also includes disco services.

What is included in the wedding package?

Tailor made packages to ensure your event runs smoothly & professionally. Package 1: 2 x 1 hour live sets from £499. Package 2: Add Disco to package 1 for the whole evening experience from £649

How far in advance should I contact you?

We require minimum of 3 months for any requests for songs that we do not currently perform. We are currently taking bookings for 2016 and 2017

Is it possible to request something that's not in the repertoire?

If package 2 is selected we can tailor make the DJ set for any songs the bride & groom may wish to add. We can also perform any song for the first dance given enough notice. This is included in price

We have over 5 years experience together as a duo within the wedding industry. Separately we have over 20 years experience in live music and provide an enjoyable and professional service

Depending on which package. Either 2 x 1 hour sets or 2 x 1 hour sets and DJ for the whole evening experience

We currently gig nearly every weekend so we are well rehearsed and ready to go

Java Duo played at our wedding reception in May this year. They were absolutely fantastic. Varied music that got everybody dancing for the whole night. Very professional and communicated well about set up times, song requests, arrival times, etc. Amanda has an amazing voice and Nick's guitar playing is brilliant. They made our evening a real party time and we would recommend them to anyone.

We used Java Duo for our evening wedding reception and found that they provided a very professional and reliable service from start to finish, from the first contact to packing the last piece of equipment at the end of the night. The live sets they put on were brilliant and very good quality as well as the music provided for the rest of the night.

So many people on the night commented on how good they both were and we would consider them for any future events. They were worth every penny and represented very good value for money for the quality of entertainment provided.
Very much appreciated and topped a great day for us.
