I’m Ryan, a full-time wedding DJ who's performed at over 1,800 weddings across more than 300 venues in the UK and Europe. I mix live, read the room, and know how to keep every generation dancing from the first dance to the final track. I welcome guest requests (unless you’ve got a ban list, which I’ll strictly enforce).

- Gold Package: Ideal for smaller weddings or simpler setups. A budget-friendly choice without compromising on quality. From £795.
- Signature Package: All-out party vibes with a premium sound system, stylish lighting, and mood-enhancing uplighting to transform your venue as the evening unfolds. From £950.
- DJ + Sax Package: Unites the versatility of an experienced DJ playing your favourite tracks, with the dynamic live performance of a saxophonist. From £1500.
I work with a select few sax players who are the best in the North – trusted and reliable pros who know how to complement a DJ-led wedding night.
Personalised Consultation
I’ll chat through your music tastes, key moments, and timings in a relaxed planning call. I’ll also coordinate directly with your venue and suppliers so everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, leaving you free to enjoy every moment on the day.
Simple, Flexible Booking
Booking is quick and easy. I accept all major credit cards (including AMEX - honeymoon points, anyone?) and bank transfer. I know wedding plans can change, and I'm happy to adapt to any last-minute changes, even on the day itself.

What is included in the wedding package?
Each package includes a pro DJ, premium sound and lighting, a custom playlist, and a planning call to shape the perfect set. Saxophone and uplighting upgrades also available
How far in advance should I contact you?
Ideally get in touch at least year ahead, especially for weekends and summer dates, as they book up quickly. The earlier you enquire, the better your chance of securing your date

Absolutely! I'm always happy to include special requests. Just send over any must-plays in advance, and I’ll make sure they’re ready for your big day
What's your experience?
I’ve performed at over 1,800 weddings across all styles – from classic and traditional to modern, rustic, and boho. Whatever your vibe, I know how to match the music to the moment
Do you have your own equipment?
Yes
Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?
Yes, for tipi or outdoor weddings, I just need a stable power supply (two sockets), a level, dry floor, and proper cover to protect the equipment from the elements
Can you travel?
Yes, yes, I cover the whole UK, with most weddings taking place in the North East, North West, Yorkshire and the Scotland Borders - but I’m happy to travel wherever the party is!

What is the length of time of the act?
My DJ sets are flexible to suit your plans, but evening receptions typically include up to 5 hours of music
How much time do you need to prepare for an act?
I usually need around 45 minutes to set up, but this can vary depending on your venue’s layout and turnaround time. I’ll coordinate directly to make sure everything runs smoothly

Highly recommend this wedding DJ!!!
The best wedding DJ!!! Quickly after starting to look for wedding DJs we came across impress events and booked them straight away! Ryan has been absolutely amazing throughout the planning process, very approachable, friendly and professional. On the day itself he arrived with plenty of time to spare and set everything up well in advance before the start time of our booking time. He was absolutely amazing and played one great song after the other whilst taking into account all our song requests!

The best DJ! By far.
We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ than Ryan from Impress Events. He worked seamlessly with our venue (Tapyard, Hoults Yard, Newcastle) and helped us create the exact first dance moment we’d dreamed of—even editing the song to shorten it perfectly.
Ryan kept the energy high and the dance floor full all night. He even made space for a surprise “dog dance” that my best friend requested, and our must plays were peppered into the mix perfectly! He was always easy to get in touch with, understood our vibe right away, and truly delivered the perfect soundtrack for our celebration.
The lighting provided helped set the mood, and helped with our photo corner too!

We hired Impress Events as our wedding DJ. Everything went perfectly from start to finish. Communication was reliable, and Ryan even gave us helpful tips on organising the day's schedule, including the cake, first dance, bouquet toss, etc. He was unobtrusive throughout the evening, providing background music that gradually transitioned into party music as atmosphere progressed. He brought top-notch professional equipment and perfectly tailored the music to the flow of the day. The party at the end of the evening was fantastic! We sent him a playlist beforehand, which he diligently played and somehow managed to incorporate into his setlist - even though we had mixed some rather eclectic music styles. He catered to all age groups, and the dance floor was practically always packed. We highly recommend booking Impress Events as your DJ! He couldn't have done a better job. He made sure everyone left the party with a smile on their face :) A thousand thanks again!

Flawless. They really do Impress!
Impress Events were absolutely incredible during our wedding and we are so grateful we chose them! 100% recommend!! As our DJ, Ryan created the perfect vibe, played every song we hoped for, and kept the dance floor full all night long. We also had the sax package, and Jack was completely brilliant from the moment he came on as the surprise for our guests during our first dance.

Ryan was amazing from start to finish! We had a planning meeting beforehand and went through every detail and he really took time to understand our vision and style of music! His communication was great and answered all of our questions along the way through WhatsApp and email. The music on the day flowed so well and got people up on the dance floor! Incredible, truly!
I had been to so many weddings where the DJs were very hit or miss, and I was determined when I got married, that I wanted to find the perfect DJ to suit our music taste. We love all sorts from classic rock, pop punk, new metal and also indie - and Ryan provided an amazing set list for our wedding! Not only that, but the set up was incredible and Ryan was extremely accommodating. Everyone was so impressed and we truly had the best night of our lives. Thank you Ryan for taking on board all of our suggestions and must plays, we will remember this forever.

Ryan lives up to his reviews!
We found Ryan online, he has incredible reviews and lived up to them. He seemed to "get" us, our music taste, and what we wanted, from his first email. We loved that we could provide him with playlists, including suggestions from our guests, and a list of what not to play. Fortunately, Ryan doesn't do the typical cheesy DJ chatter but when you ask him to make announcements he does so in such a smooth charming voice that is just perfect for a wedding! The sound was incredible despite the venue having a 90 DB sound limiter that he had to stay below, and his lighting was also brilliant, just what we wanted. Everyone danced all night to good music and we have the best memories to takeaway with us. Thank you Ryan!

We had Ryan & Jack for the evening of our wedding in November 2025 at Hornington Manor. From the very first message with Ryan to discuss our requirements right up the last tune played at our evening, they were both fantastic. Ryan is a super talented DJ, so be assured he will keep your guest dancing. Jack is a master at the saxophone and creates the perfect atmosphere. We can’t recommend Impress Events highly enough!
