The Soundtrack to Your Wedding
Ryan is the wedding DJ behind Impress Events. He has performed at over 1,800 weddings across more than 300 venues in the UK and Europe. Ryan mixes live, reads the room, and knows how to keep every generation involved from your first dance to the last song. Guest requests are always welcome, unless you provide a do-not-play list, which Ryan will follow strictly.

Impress Events offers options designed to suit different weddings and budgets. Every package includes premium sound and lighting, a planning call, and a DJ set shaped around your music taste.

Ideal for smaller weddings or tighter spaces, without compromising on quality. - Signature Package, from £950
A more powerful sound system, plus uplighting to enhance the room and lift the atmosphere as the night builds. - DJ + Sax
If you’d like live sax alongside your DJ set, Ryan can recommend a small number of trusted sax players he regularly performs with. Ryan will advise on timings and music choices, and coordinate on the night so everything flows smoothly.
Planning Made Easy
Ryan will guide you through your music choices, key moments and timings in a relaxed planning call. He can also coordinate with your venue and other suppliers so everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Simple, Flexible Booking
Booking is straightforward, with all credit cards accepted as well as bank transfers. If your plans change down the line, Ryan is happy to adapt, even if timings shift close to the day.

How far in advance should I contact you?
Ideally get in touch at least year ahead, especially for weekends and summer dates, as they book up quickly. The earlier you enquire, the better your chance of securing your date

Do you have your own equipment?
Yes
Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?
Yes, for tipi or outdoor weddings, I just need a stable power supply (two sockets), a level, dry floor, and proper cover to protect the equipment from the elements
Can you travel?
Yes, ryan covers the whole UK (and Europe on request), regularly DJing across England, Scotland and Wales

What is the length of time of the act?
Most bookings are for the evening reception (typically 4-5 hours). Ryan can tailor the finish time to your venue curfew and schedule, with options to extend if needed
How much time do you need to prepare for an act?
Usually 40-50 mins to set up and sound-check. Ryan aims to arrive around 120-180 mins before start time so everything's ready
Do you do open-air acts?

Extra time is charged at a pre-agreed hourly rate. If you run late on the night, it can be added on request, subject to venue curfew

Flawless. They really do Impress!
Impress Events were absolutely incredible during our wedding and we are so grateful we chose them! 100% recommend!! As our DJ, Ryan created the perfect vibe, played every song we hoped for, and kept the dance floor full all night long. We also had the sax package, and Jack was completely brilliant from the moment he came on as the surprise for our guests during our first dance.
Ryan had arranged a call with us beforehand to align on both our music preferences and our first dance timing, showing how organised and attentive he is. Our guests absolutely loved it too! The vibe was fantastic, and we had the best night imaginable. Impress really go the extra mile in every way possible.

We’d recommend Ryan in a heartbeat.
We honestly couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding at Sandhole Oak Barn.
Right from the start, Ryan was brilliant to deal with. He was friendly, professional, and so organised that he made the whole thing completely stress free. During our planning stages, he really took the time to get a feel for what we wanted, the vibe we were after, the music we love, and the kind of night we wanted.
On the day, Ryan was perfect. Everything was set up perfectly and looked smart in our venue, Sandhole Oan Barn.
His music choise was 10/10 all night. He read the room so well and kept the dance floor busy from start to finish. Every song seemed to come at just the right time, and he got the balance exactly right between the tracks we’d asked for and the ones that got everyone up. We had guests of all ages dancing, which is exactly what we wanted, and so many people have said how good the music was.
What we appreciated most was how relaxed and in control Ryan was. He helped the evening flow naturally and was great with the announcements without creating any distractions. He brought such a great energy to the night and really felt like a big part of what made the wedding so special.

PERFECT! Everything was simply, perfect!
We had the pleasure of having Ryan DJ at our wedding, he was amazing to work with in the lead up to the wedding and was so flexible with the payment plans we made. His timing was perfect! He arrived early and set up in good time during the food service. When it came time to party, he had the dance floor full right from the offset and kept everyone going until midnight, there was never an empty dance floor! We couldn't have asked for a better DJ! We will keep him in our minds for any future parties! Overall, everything was perfect. We cannot recommend Impress Events enough!

The best part of the wedding party!
Amazing DJ! From initial contact to our big day, the communication was easy, fast and professional. Ryan was the best addition to our wedding party, set up was quick and music was fabulous! Everything we asked for was included and Ryan read the room so the dance floor was full all night, highly recommend! Thanks so much from a very happy couple!

Great experience
Ryan was great. In the lead up to the event we had quite a few issues - changing venue, then the new venue was imposing restrictions on sound levels and making things difficult, but Ryan was great at keeping me in the loop and working with us to ensure that we had the best day possible. He was very professional and his set up was great. We also hired a sax player via Impress events who was great. I provided a pretty comprehensive play list and do not play list which he followed, as well as reading the room and going with what he felt was working. Our dance floor was full all night long

Impress Events played at our wedding last weekend, and the atmosphere was fantastic throughout!
We've never experienced a dance floor that never emptied. Ryan is extremely good at reading the mood of the guests and reacts quickly if a song doesn't resonate, then blasts out something else to keep everyone on the dance floor. He is a DJ who definitely has a great grasp of song transitions.
He was also super easy to organise with, responded flexibly to requests, and always kept cool when I was pestering him with questions on WhatsApp at 2am! (Thanks for even replying at that time)

We had the please of having Impress Events at our wedding, and it was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, they kept the energy high and the dance floor packed. 10/10 Wedding Experience.
10/10 wedding experience! Impress Events made our wedding day something we will never forget for the rest of our lives, and the same goes for all our guests. From the perfect ambiance whilst our evening guests arrived to transforming the dance floor into a full-on rave and dance party, they absolutely nailed it.
From start to finish, they understood exactly the kind of atmosphere we wanted and delivered beyond expectations. Every moment felt effortless, energetic, and unforgettable.
