The Dawdling Duck was an incredible experience for all guests at our wedding in a little church off the beaten track. Dawdling duck was one of the first things I booked after we found our venue August 2021! Alex is absolutely amazing and over the last year and half has helped me with all my questions and bits we needed for the venue. On the actual weekend he came to set up on the Friday, and I've never seen a bar like it! I'm so so pleased I found you guys, the horsebox trailer worked amazing with the rustic vibe we had gone for. All the guests loved it and commented on how lovely it looked! Thank you so much for then also moving into the barn in the evening! You and the girls went above and beyond for our big day and I can't thank you enough! I also heard you helped light the sparklers for our photos!? So thank you for that to! Highly recommended dawdling duck, you will not be disappointed!!!

Alex and the team provided an incredible service for us from our initial enquiry all the way through to the big day. Alex was easy to communicate with over phone, text and email and always answered our questions as quickly as possible. Booking was straightforward and the price very reasonable. On the day itself the team were fantastic - they assembled the bar in the hall very efficiently and it looked wonderful. They provided a fantastic service to our guests throughout the evening and were very friendly and professional. Cannot fault them at all. Our caterer recommended the Dawdling Duck for our daughter’s wedding at Wadhurst Castle. Alex was fantastic to work with in the months leading up to the big day. We live in the US and even with the time difference, he was very quick to respond to my MANY questions!

On the wedding day, he and his two assistants were setting up their beautiful bar early in the morning. They were all dressed professionally and very friendly.

Immediately after the ceremony, the guests were greeted with trays of Prosecco. Alex suggested the perfect package for us. In addition to the bar, they poured wine and provided Prosecco during the wedding breakfast.

They were very quick to provide drinks at the bar and no one had to wait for their drinks. I would highly recommend the Dawdling Duck!

Alex and his team were absolutely brilliant for our wedding, not just on the day but also on the build-up. We discussed all the details for the day in advance, which made me feel very confident for the day.

The horsebox is beautiful and matched perfectly our tipi wedding. Service was impeccable and they even agreed to add a custom cocktail (capirinhas) to the menu.

So glad we used the Dawdling Duck team for our wedding. The bar looked amazing, and most importantly kept a wide range of ice cold drinks flowing on a very warm day. Absolutely would recommend- very easy to work with helpful suggestions in the run up (but without any pressure to take up suggestions- just helpful options for us to consider) and then we had nothing to have to think about in the day- just lots of happy guests. Haven't had the photos back yet but the bar also looked beautiful!

Alex and his lovely daughter were just wonderful at our wedding. The drinks went down very easily! Such a wonderful choice and let us choose our own signature cocktails. The bar looked lovely and fitted in just perfectly.

We hired the unique, quirky, classic, vintage indoor bar for our daughter's wedding. They went 'Beyond the Bar' 🤣 Professional, helpful, looked brilliant, guests loved them, and they sure kept everyone happy with an extensive range of drinks and some very cute cocktails! Will book again...

We hired the dawdling duck for our wedding reception located at a village hall. The look of the bar topped of the venue. The staff where so friendly and helpful. Our guests all complemented the bar and the fantastic service the staff provided. The prices of the drinks where competitive and there was a great choice of drinks. Thanks again Alex and Andy!
