Hi, I'm Jill, and I have been in the Travel Industry for 30 years. I started when I was 21 years old after graduating from University and worked for 17 years for an Australasian specialist. Building tailor-made itineraries to match my clients' requirements to many exotic places became my passion, and it gave me the opportunity to visit some amazing destinations such as Australia, New Zealand, the South Pacific, the Far East, the Caribbean and the Indian Ocean, to name just a few. When the sound of little feet came along, I could no longer continue with this career, due to the amount of travel, so I moved to be a home-based Personal Travel Advisor for The Holiday Village (a 65-year-old Family and award-winning business). Here I have access to hundreds of different operators selling different destinations and products, but I tend to specialise in luxury, long-haul and tailor-made honeymoons, due to my background and the additional need for extra care and attention. I pride myself on having 5-star reviews on my Facebook and clients who appreciate the need to actually speak to an expert and professional. Someone who is available (not a chatbot), knowledgeable and who looks after them from the initial enquiry to their return home. Giving them inspiration and first-hand knowledge, whilst going the extra mile to email hotels to make special requests and ask for upgrades. I do all the hard work, ensuring that all the relevant documents are in place, book seats where I can on the aircraft, ensure tickets are sent out promptly (I have an amazing Careteam behind me), and all of this is free. Taking the stress away from what is probably the second most important element of their special day, so they can relax knowing everything is taken care of.
