As almost every pre-wedding story goes, it was my fiancée who wanted us to do a choreographed first dance. She’s always been the better dancer, while I was the anxious one—let’s be honest, these classes were really for me!
Parul was fantastic from the start. She designed a choreography that struck the perfect balance: not too complex to overwhelm me, but not too simple either—it looked elegant and impressive. Her patience and ability to tailor the routine to our comfort level made all the difference.

I organised dancing lessons with Parul as a birthday surprise for my now wife. Parul was lovely to speak to and clearly explained different options for our first dance. We ended up having three lessons with Parul and each of which was so much fun. She clearly explained the basics of dancing to us complete novices and by the final session we were had an impressive routine with dips and lifts! I would definitely recommend Parul to anyone who wants to learn how to dance with their partner!

She was incredibly helpful and focused on teaching us how to respond to each other’s movements, not just memorise choreography. My husband and I wanted to do something a little special for our first dance, and after some research, we decided to go with Parul - firstly because of her amazing reviews, and secondly because she followed up with a friendly call to walk us through the process. She immediately felt like someone we could trust.

We initially planned to learn a simple routine over two sessions, and Parul made the most of that time - she efficiently choreographed a beautiful dance and taught it to in two sessions, despite the time constraint. We ended up adding a third session to fine-tune everything, which was absolutely worth it.

We loved the dance that Parul put together for us, and how she walked us through it - not just the "what" but also the "how". Her guidance helped us feel the music rather than just count steps. You can tell how passionate she is about what she does. In between lessons, we’d send her videos, and she always replied with thoughtful, detailed feedback to help us improve.

To top it all off, she's also a lovely person.

We left our first dance right until the last minute and were in a proper panic with only three weeks to go. Finding Parul was a godsend! She was so lovely and patient with us, and in just four short lessons, she sorted out a brilliant routine that was simple but still looked really elegant. We were so chuffed with the result and actually had a lot of fun learning it. We felt so much more confident on the day and got loads of lovely comments from our guests. We honestly can't recommend her enough!

We approached Parul with a limited amount of time and budget to work on our first dance (could only commit to three lessons). She was kind, accomodating and really worked with us to ensure we stuck to our budget, time frame and dance abilities. She created such a relaxed atmosphere and really took the time to teach us proper technique when teaching us the moves. Her enthusiasm and passion is so genuine! We had sessions with Parul to prepare for our First Dance at our wedding. We wanted someone who could combine Indian and Western dance styles to a medley song, and after an initial call with Parul, we knew we had the right person as we were on the same wavelength.

Despite us being fairly short on time, with only a few weeks before the wedding, Parul showed great flexibility to accommodate us, ensuring we got the necessary preparation and felt comfortable and confident.

The sessions themselves were a lot of fun. Her routines are quite unique, and she tailors them to the couple, chopping and changing to see what works best. She has good tips and was able to guide us through challenging sections, offering constructive feedback. She also has an eye for the theatrical, knowing the types of moves that would draw attention from the audience.

Of course, like with any dance routine, ultimately it comes down to the couple to practise adequately ahead of the performance. With Parul, we had a guiding hand who helped us perform our best.

Overall, I would highly recommend Parul. She is very versatile, being familiar with many different styles, went out of her way to fit us in her schedule, and ultimately crafted a creative routine for us that we were happy with. And lastly, as a person, she is warm and genuinely invested in the couple performing well.

It was a pleasure being taught by Parul, she was very patient with my husband and I, as we both can't dance that well! She always made sure we were comfortable with the moves and helped us to adapt them to our style and capabilities. And what a fantastic result - our wedding guests said it was the best first dance they'd ever seen!

Parul was absolutely incredible- I asked her to choreograph dhoom again and London thumakda for my Sangeet in India, whilst I was based in the USA and all my bridesmaids were in London. She made working across 3 time zones a breeze, the choreography was gorgeous and I had input at every stage. She was very friendly, a great teacher, broke down the steps so even someone who had never danced before (me and all my friends) ended up looking great on stage. She managed to teach 2 dances in 2 zoom sessions, I would whole heartedly recommend her and she made my wedding so much more memorable by making the Sangeet dances look incredible and super fun to learn! Would work with her again without hesitation! (She also choreographed my parents and their friends dance for the wedding, which looked amazing and did in-person sessions at my parents house for that- which all my family friends loved).
