Why should I have a Celebrant rather than a Registrar?

There are so many benefits to a celebrant-led ceremony - firstly, the freedom to hold the ceremony anywhere you wish, flexibility on time, inclusivity and cultural diversity, a meaningful relationship with a celebrant who is with you every step of the process and actually knows you.

Ultimately, having a service that is a reflection of you as a couple, your values, your passion, your joys, your unique stories. Your ceremony won't be like anyone else's and when you put so much creativity and vision into the rest of your big day - why wouldn't you put that into your ceremony too?

Sounds great.. but why are you the perfect Celebrant?

I love telling love stories, but the thing I am most passionate about is helping couples achieve their vision for their perfect day. I pride myself on really getting to know my couples, so that I can share the highs and lows of event planning with you - and be someone you trust, so that when we get to the big day and I am telling your story - I know that it will feel special to you as a couple, and that your will feel comfortable with me leading your day.

I have a background in event management and used to be a speech writer - so I come armed with a wealth of experience in both fields, I have a long list of suppliers in the industry I can help recommend and put you in touch with as we move through the process.

For so many of my couples I become their wedding cheerleader, their planning partner (because you don't want to spoil every surprise telling your bridal party!), and on the day I'm often their second event planner, and sometimes even dance floor starter or even if you wanted to add on an additional service, your Wedding MC!

Sounds amazing... so if we want to work with you... what happens next?

If you think you might want to work with me reach out here and we will arrange a time to discuss your big day, and everything you want. I will prepare a quotation and give you time to think about if I am the right celebrant for you! Should you wish to book me we will keep in touch via instagram/facebook/whatsapp etc and arrange a time for a face-to-face meeting around 3/4 months prior to your big day, but this can be over zoom if necessary. During that meeting, we will talk in depth about your big day, your love story, and what you want from your ceremony - everything from the overall style, and feel, as well as how you want the ceremony to go. Whether it's traditional with a twist, something spirirtual, or a karaoke interlude, we can make it happen!

I will then go away and take everything I have learnt to write a tailor made, bespoke service for you. You get unlimited rewrites, so once you have the script you can edit, review and amend any of the details, until we have things perfect. I include a rehearsal if you wish, and will reach out and coordinate with any planners/photographers/videographers/av suppliers, prior to the big day to make sure we have everything in hand It is important we get the perfect photos, and reminders of your special day! On the day itself, I will be there beforehand - making sure everything is perfect for your big moment, and if this means helping the florists and the planners, I will pitch it to make the day perfect! Ceremony done and dusted, I will give you your ceremony copy and keepsake certificate and leave you to enjoy the rest of your special day together.
