Meet the team
Welcome to my little corner of Hitched!
It may seem like there is a whole team here, but it's just me! I am the admin assistant, the content creator and researcher. I meet with my wonderful couples, write their unique ceremonies and deliver them.
I live in Skipton, by the border of North Yorkshire and Lancashire with my husband, our adult daughters, and loyal Labrador, Brontë (yes, named after the famous literary sisters!). I have worked as an English teacher for many years, and I’ve also spent a good chunk of time volunteering with the Ilkley Literary Festival and the Brontë Parsonage Museum—my love for literature runs deep!
When I’m not working, you’ll find me walking through nature with Brontë (the dog, not the author!), spending time with family, or lost in a good book. I’m passionate about the arts, literature, and the simple joys that life offers.
Thanks for stopping by—hope you enjoy what you find here! Please contact me if you have any questions, or would like a no obligation video call.
