North Yorkshire Celebrant Richard Wood, is a wedding celebrant located in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, North Yorkshire covering the North of England. He is a qualified celebrant, trained by the leading Celebrant training organisation in the UK, who specialises in weddings, civil ceremonies and vow renewals.

Having worked in the wedding industry for many years, he is a seasoned professional with a great passion for helping couples create their dream wedding experience.

Richards training background in, among other things, presentation skills, his public speaking experience and many years as a professional singer, makes Richard uniquely placed to deliver your ceremony with professionalism, confidence and humour.

When he is not creating ceremonies, Richard is a professional singer and works as a Supporting Artist in Films & TV productions, productions include Peaky Blinders, Victoria, Emmerdale, Coronation Street and many more. Richard also appeared as a contestant on Channel 4's 'Come Dine With Me' and despite a lack of cooking skills, won trhe show!

Services Offered

Richard prefers to approach each wedding in a relaxed way, which quickly puts his clients at ease. He consults with each couple to discuss how he can tailor the occasion perfectly to their vision.

Richard encourages communication between himself and his clients during the writing process to ensure that they are satisfied with the result. He can provide his celebrant services for various faiths, including Baptist, Catholicism, Methodist, and more. He also offers secular services for non-religious or humanist couples.

Richard's style could be described as relaxed, professional, traditional and above all, fun.

Richard is available throughout the North of England and his fee includes:

• Travel costs.
• All the time needed to get to know the couple and create their perfect ceremony.
• Any enhancement required (unity candle, sand ceremony etc)
• Presentation copy of your ceremony.
• Commemorative Certificate to sign during the ceremony.
• The delivery of your ceremony on the day.
• Bose sound system if required for the ceremony music.
