Melody officiated our wedding on New Years Eve at The Milner, York, and did an incredible job. Melody made sure to get to know us personally and learn our story, including zoom calls and an in-person meeting at a pub in York, which really helped give the ceremony a personal touch.

Melody gave us great advice on different options for the ceremony, and even helped review our vows which we wrote personally, giving us tips, example vows for inspiration, and pointers to tweak them so that they didn't have totally different lengths or vibes, which we both found really useful.

Melody told our story during the ceremony which was great for all the guests, and the ceremony ran amazingly. We actually received many compliments from multiple different guests throughout the day, all saying how great a job Melody did!

Melody was fantastic during our entire time with her - speaking on the phone, or meeting on York, she was great and able to tailor our handfasting ceremony towards our vows and partnership ceremony. Despite being disrupted by a cat part way through!

Melody was also so accommodating of one person involved in the handfasting who was in a wheelchair, but made that a natural part of the ceremony so thank you!

Melody was sensational from day 1 - she was warm and welcoming and made sure to put us at ease. We had multiple zoom meetings, in person pints and a group Whatsapp And Melody was very diligent in getting all the little details of our lives right to build her ceremony. The best bit of our ceremony was how bespoke it was - lots of people commented about how 'us' it was. She wove our story so beautifully and filled the ceremony with love and laughter.

We chose do write our own vows and have a handfasting and Melody gave us advice on how to write them and best order of events. She also liaised with the venue to "get the vibe" and dressed in our wedding colours to fit in.

Melody was absolutely fantastic as our celebrant, and as our master of ceremonies. She made our ceremony something to remember and cherish. She also completely set us at ease with great communication leading up to our wedding, and we knew we could trust her to support us throughout the day.

Melody met with us a couple of times before our wedding, to get to know us, hear our story, and get a feel for what we wanted our wedding to look like. She was very friendly, and easy to talk to. Melody took all our stories and combined them with her own ideas and expertise, and she created a captivating, bespoke ceremony. The ceremony felt so special and it was highly complimented by all our family and friends.

Melody really went above and beyond throughout the day. She coordinated with the venue, she made sure to introduce herself to all our family, and in particular those family members that would be involved in the ceremony e.g. witnesses, ring bearers etc. She helped to coordinate our friends and family for the the photos and she also made sure that the venue saved us some canopés while we were having our photos taken.

Melody was amazing from start to finish. She's very personable and genuinely interested in getting to know the couple. She is extremely organised and gave us a load of pointers to think about that we hadn't even considered whilst wedding planning. Our meet up with Melody went really well and felt like she knew us by the end. Melody did the master of ceremonies with us at Cockley Wood Weddings and she helped the day run so smoothly. Her speech in our ceremony summarising our story was just incredible, she got it so right, her delivery was brilliant and we absolutely loved it. I was really worried about crying too much in the ceremony but Melody calmed my nerves and helped to come up with a plan (fortunately that we didn't need in the end!)
The rest of the day she helped us keep to time with everything and it was just amazing. The guests loved her and my dad couldn't stop talking about how great she was! Thanks again Melody.

Melody was incredible from start to finish during the entire wedding journey. From our first relaxed coffee meeting, she made us feel completely at ease with her warm and friendly approach. We were so lucky to have Melody as our celebrant for our wedding at the NCEM in York. From the start, Melody was warm, supportive, and incredibly helpful. We met with her in person and also had a few online calls, during which she took the time to get to know us as a couple. Melody was absolutely amazing from the moment we first met her all the way through to the wedding day. She really made us both feel comfortable and listened to exactly what we wanted, even accommodating our dog in the ceremony and certificate, We have plenty of meetings with Melody on the run up to the big day and she was always at the other end of the phone if we needed anything. She was a very big help with our vow writing and all the other wedding admin. She arrived nice and early for the ceremony and made sure to make the rounds of the main characters which was appreciated. She really made our day feel special and it was lovely having her be part of it. We had no idea what a celebrant lead Ceromony was, but we are so glad we met Melody to tell us all about it and be the celebrant for our wedding. Melody met us both quite a few times before the wedding for initial zoom meeting, dog walks and coffee meet ups , to get to know us both individually and as a couple, she made so much effort. Leading up to the wedding Melody was so helpful at guiding us and answering all of our questions. The ceremony itself was more than perfect, words cannot describe how fitting it was to us both, personal, and was exactly how we envisioned our ceremony. Melody even learnt some Lithuanian for our Lithuanian guests, and printed Lithuanian translated Ceromony! We asked for Melody to be our master of Ceremonies, to stay for the whole day making sure everything ran smoothly…honestly we just wanted Melody to stay for the whole thing as she felt like a friend to us both!
