Linda recently led the celebrations at our wedding at Kinkell Byre, near St Andrews, Fife. We knew from the Fife grapevine that she was a celebrant, and when reading her web page we were immediately struck with how open, accepting and positive she sounded. Emails were exchanged and we set up a Zoom call to discuss what we were looking for. Our first impressions had been correct. We happily chatted for an hour and we were confident that Linda would do a brilliant job.

Every step of the process was shared with us and it was reassuring to have Linda guide us through the ceremony to ensure it reflected our shared beliefs and values. Writing our own vows and sharing our story with Linda allowed the occasion to be individual, unique and full of joy. So many of our guests commented on what an amazing wedding it was, how the service really captured who we are as a couple and the importance of our wider friends and family. 'Warmth', 'kindness', 'joyful', 'individual', 'sincere', 'personal to you' were just some of the words used by our guests.
Linda's calm, confident capability meant we knew we could trust her with this most special of days. She was so caring and understanding to ensure that everyone knew what they were doing during the ceremony and that everyone felt comfortable.

Following the service, Linda gave us a beautifully presented folder with the ceremony printed out in full. Reading over it the following morning, over breakfast, was a magical way to relive the day and is a gift for us to cherish for the future.

Every interaction we had with Linda - email, Zoom call, meeting at a cafe to chat things over - left a strong positive impression and we felt like she really got to know us, both as a couple and as individuals. Her eloquence and delivery of the ceremony was beautifully done. It was a truly perfect day and if we could give her more than 5 stars, we would!

If we could give Linda 1000 stars we would, what a wonderful human being and outstanding celebrant.

Her humanity is such wonderful presence to be in and really speaks to the ethos of the Agnostic Scotland mission and principles, this open hearted and minded approach was just what we were looking for in our celebrant for our wedding.

Linda put us at ease from the first zoom call and curated our thoughts and ideas into the most magical day, with a beautiful blend of charm, poignancy and humour. She created exactly the right atmosphere for us and our guests to celebrate our big day.

Many of our guests commented on how heartfelt and moving the ceremony was and that was in no small part down to Linda's skills of weaving together our information into a story to remember.

Genuinely the most perfect and ideal celebrant we could have picked. From the first interaction all the way until we we were on our honeymoon, Linda was incredible. Our ceremony was so incredibly personalised, our story was told beautifully and we truly couldn't have wished for more.

Even when issues came out well beyond Linda's remit, she stepped in to help in any way she could. Our 2nd witness flaked on attending the wedding and at the last minute Linda ask her sister-in-law to help us, which she graciously did.
