We chose Alex to be our celebrant for our wedding in June 2022. We knew from our first conversation that she was the right celebrant for us. Alex listened carefully to our (very long!) story and from this created the most beautiful ceremony. Our story was captured and relayed perfectly, including the small details. Together we also came up with a new version of the warming of the rings which worked perfectly with our setting and theme for the wedding. I was feeling anxious during the morning of the wedding as I was getting ready and not involved with setting up, Alex gave me regular updates on how my husband and his friends were getting on with the set up which definitely made me feel calmer! We wanted a ceremony that reflected us – something relaxed, funny but also sentimental. Our guests were laughing and crying at all the right times. With a great sense of humour, warm personality and a beautiful way with words, Alex really was the perfect celebrant. Alex kept in touch throughout the process with regular updates and provided advice to us on own vows and to our friends with their readings. Most of our guests hadn’t attended a ceremony led by a celebrant before and we received so many compliments. In fact, a few of our guests unfortunately missed the ceremony due to transport issues and Alex very kindly re-read the ceremony to them at the start of the drinks reception. She went over and above and we can’t thank her enough. If you’re considering having Alex as your celebrant then you won’t be disappointed. She really is one of the most wonderful people we have ever met :) Thank you so much, Alex!
