Welcome to Allie, a Lewes-based wedding celebrant specialising in warm, relaxed, joyful and inclusive ceremonies for you and your friends and family.
Allie believes that love is the greatest force on the planet and that the quality of our relationships is the magic glue that keeps everything together. As a wedding celebrant she is right at the heart of marking how love conquers all and brings people together, and that's why she loves being one!
So, Allie invites you to show up as you are and tell your love story in the way you would like it to be remembered. Allie is unique with her amazing performing arts and community events background as an actor, storyteller and theatre producer as well as her expert knowledge and skills as a Drama teacher and House Leader, and she enjoys bringing this experience to her celebrant work. Allie enjoys all the ages at weddings from the little guests to grandparents and loves bringing people together for such an important and memorable moment in time. She prides herself on being super organised and a great communicator too with you, your guests, your other wedding suppliers and the hosting venue.
Allie Can Offer You Two Main Wedding Celebrations:
Ceremony Celebrant - where she writes, rehearses, and delivers the ceremony on your chosen day. With you every step of the way from the first meeting to your big and special day. Allie will craft your story, communicate it to your well wishers and take any stress out of your big day by orchestrating the smooth running of the ceremony, connecting with your loved ones and personalising your ceremony in a way that feels just right for you both.
Ceremony Writer is especially for couples who want professional help in developing and writing a ceremony which can be delivered by a friend or family member on your chosen day. Allie can also coach your chosen one to deliver the speech with confidence in bespoke one to one session/s, on request, sharing her top tips for public speaking and connecting with an audience.
From April to the end of December 2026, due to popular requests from couples, Allie is teaming up with Terisa to offer some exciting 'add-ons' such as a 'Creative Station' at your wedding for children to do craft activities at the wedding. Drama activities and fun games are also available on request.
Ceremonies by Allie is passionate about creating an inclusive, personalised ceremony for you both, one that you and your guests will remember forever. Please visit Allie's Ceremonies website at www.ceremoniesbyallie.co.uk, and arrange an informal chat to see if she is the right celebrant for you.

Hi! I'm Allie from Ceremonies by Allie, and I LOVE my job making your special day super memorable. Most of all I would like it to reflect your love story, your wishes and include all your nearest and dearest in a warm, relaxed and joyful ceremony.
Alongside my wedding celebrant work, I work as a Drama teacher and House Leader inspiring children and young people. I am a mum to four amazing adult children, and a step-mum to three. When not busy with my Brady Bunch-like family, I like to relax in Lewes at the tennis club, cold water swim at the Pells and chill with my soppy cat, Kylo and wonderful hubby, Mark.
