We could not recommend Pauline highly enough—she was absolutely amazing from start to finish! We met with her ahead of the wedding near our home, and she was instantly so friendly and incredibly easy to talk to.

On the big day, Pauline was a total calming presence. She talked us through the entire plan so we knew exactly what to expect. As the groom waiting at the end of the aisle, I was incredibly grateful to Pauline for chatting with me and keeping my nerves at bay before my bride walked down the aisle.

She paid so much attention to our details, and she read our love story out beautifully, making the entire ceremony feel incredibly personalized and special to us. On top of that, her professionalism is unmatched—she even made sure to position herself out of the way during key moments so our photographer and videographer could get the perfect shots without her in them.

Oskar was absolutely fabulous. He set us both at ease instantly, and many guests came out of their way to tell us how much they liked him. He was extremely accommodating of any special needs that were communicated to him, and worked well with our photographers to facilitate certain shots. Our humanist ceremony was performed by Alan Edwards on 25.5.25.

I saw Alan on Instagram and immediately knew he was the right celebrant for us. Unlike many I’d seen before, he talked passionately about the couples he was marrying that day and it was all about the couple and not about him.

In our initial call he outlined what the ceremony would entail and our options for gestures. He then contacted us closer to the wedding and we met up to tell our story. It was like meeting an old friend and we both felt very comfortable.

A few weeks later we received the initial draft for the wedding and we laughed and cried as we read through the document. How did he manage to make us sound so interesting!! 😂 A few tweaks later and we had the perfect ceremony.

On the day, Alan came to see me and it was so fabulous to see him to know that he was the man that was going to finally tie the knot between my new husband and I. So exciting!

The ceremony was absolutely beautiful. Everyone laughed and cried, the ‘ring drama’ (the rings hidden under a random seat) was a total hit and all the guests said it was the perfect ceremony and just how ceremonies should be done.

What a wonderful experience. We spoke to our Celebrant, Alan Edwards, on the phone in the first instance, and then had a few meetings down the line finding out all about us and the kind of ceremony we were looking for. We were getting married in the evening and were delighted to find someone to accommodate this. Alan put us at ease and helped shape the Ceremony in a way that reflected both of us perfectly. Even though we started the process thousands of miles away, Douglas from Fuze was charming and made us feel comfortable. We had multiple meetings over zoom with him and he was very professional and detailed. He didn’t make the process feel transactional but more like old friends chatting. Fast forward to the wedding day and his energy is contagious. He checked in with me from the start and our wedding ceremony was AMAZING and MEMORABLE thanks to Douglas! We didn’t get to spend as much time as we would have liked with Douglas as we were taking wedding photos but he did treat our guests to some songs with his guitar and voice.
