From the first contact, Elaine was very responsive and easy to communicate with. She met us several times before the wedding to get to know us better. This made the ceremony very personal to me and my husband which was exactly what we wanted. The ceremony itself was more of a love story and me and my husband’s life together so far.

Elaine is really friendly, easy to get along with and such a lovely woman! Made all our guests relaxed and was happy to have a chat and laugh with them while waiting on me.

Elaine was always happy to help with any questions I had about paperwork and where/when to send these which took a lot of pressure off me.

For anyone looking for a a celebrant who’ll do a personal ceremony for you and your partner, Elaine is the celebrant for you.

Prior to the wedding we met with Elaine a few times for a really friendly, informal chat over coffee, we talked about our history as colleagues, then friends and neighbours before becoming a couple, and Elaine worked all that in to the ceremony, checking with us that we were happy with it, making wee tweaks here and there, to make sure the ceremony said what we wanted our guests to hear of our story, and more importantly what we wanted to say to each other.

We had a very non-traditional wedding - axe throwing and archery, woodland setting, people dressed as elves and Jedi in kilts... that sort of thing. Elaine was brilliant, taking all that in her stride and delivering for us an absolutely perfect ceremony. I'm not a believer in fate, or destiny, but I do believe that if someone else had been our celebrant it wouldn't have been as good.

We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Elaine Curtis as a wedding celebrant. 10/10 - only positive feedback.

She communicated with us really well throughout and made us feel really comfortable in asking for what we wanted, and helping us to make sure all the paperwork was done properly. We couldn't have been happier with Elaine as our wedding celebrant. She took the time to get to know us (and the cats) and crafted a ceremony perfectly reflecting our personalities and our story. Elaine's warmth and enthusiasm set the perfect tone, making our ceremony feel so personable which was not unnoticed by all our guests. She’s also a fantastic photographer!!! Elaine was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Her attention to detail, her advice and guidance to help us to tailor the service how we wanted it and her delivery of the service was second to none. Normally people comment on the venue, the dress or the entertainment, however, we genuinely had so many positive comments specifically about Elaine and the whole service. That just says it all and we couldn't recommend her enough.
