Well what can we say? As a shall we say "Mature" couple we have both been through the wedding process before and decided to try again with a married way of life. Date booked, caterers sorted, guest list written only thing left was a celebrant! As neither of us are particularly religious we decided on an independent celebrant and we were recommended by our venue to look at Nichola's website and services (amongst others) we are so glad we did! From our first online chats to actually meeting Nichola the process was fun yet very professional. She "got us" she understood where we were coming from and what we were looking to do. We sat together for about an hour and we answered lots of questions and told our stories. What impressed us the most was that the meeting was not all about Nichola, it was to find out about what made us tick, what made us to decide to get married, what attracted us to each other, how did we see our lives together developing.
After that meeting we waited for Nichola's draft service - Wow! She now knew more about us than we did!
Come wedding day Nichola was at the venue to help, advise, calm the odd nerve and be just like one of our oldest friends. She took us in hand and we just knew it was going to be good.
The service itself was simply magnificent. She first made everyone feel comfortable and clearly was out to make sure our guests enjoyed things as much as we were going to. She filled the room with laughter and love, our guests were loving the way she described us and our history together, learning some things they never knew. She has the knack of reading the room perfectly, she had myself and my bride in stitches and tears in equal measure, she knew when to bring in the solemnity of the occasion and when to make us laugh. It was fantastic, absolutely fantastic!

We found Nichola because she was a recommended supplier at our wedding venue, Hedingham Castle, and we could not have been more pleased at how lovely the service was.

Nichola is responsive, professional, and attentive. We had two calls with her, one before booking to see if she would be a good fit for us, and one a few months prior to the wedding. During that call, she really took the time to get to know us as a couple and took lots of notes. We received a first draft of the script for our service a few days later and it was clear that she "got" who we were. We only needed to make very minor alterations to the script.

We decided not to do personalised vows, but if that is something you would prefer, Nichola will have them printed out for you on nice stationery, which I think is a lovely touch. She left us a nicely printed copy of our service for us to keep and cherish.

On the day, we got so many comments afterwards about how lovely the service was and how for once it was a highlight of the day. Many of our guests were smiling through sobs and complimented us afterwards, saying that they did not know it was possible to have such a nice service. Because most of our friends and family live abroad, they didn't necessarily know the full story behind our relationship and really appreciated learning about us as a couple instead of hearing legal jargon for half an hour.

The cost was more than fair for the amount of work put in. Nichola is lovely and we 100% recommend her services!

We had a great experience with Nichola as our celebrant! We wanted a fusion ceremony to bring together elements of a traditional western and Indian (Hindu) ceremony as a fusion of both our cultures, and Nichola really understood what we were trying to achieve from the get go. She was super helpful throughout the entire process, perfectly blending giving us helpful guidance and suggestions whilst also being led by us and what we wanted. We really enjoyed all our catch ups with her and laughed so much! Together with our Pundit (priest), she wrote a ceremony that reflected both cultures whilst still feeling personal and special to us.

On the day the ceremony was absolutely amazing and we’ve had so many people come to us and tell us how much they enjoyed it. We’re so grateful to Nichola and would absolutely recommend working with her - you will not regret it!

We left finding a celebrant quite late, but Nicola had availability and got straight to work! We had a really long face time with her talking through mine and my husbands life story of how we met and all things personal! When we was chatting I just knew she was 100% perfect for us! She knew exactly what we wanted and really nailed it!! We wanted a mixture of traditional vows and then modern ceremony based on love and family! She even managed to find some great humour in our ceremony and it was honestly perfect! She paid great attention to detail and assisted with things like telling my husband when to turn around and included my 5yr old into the ceremony.
We honestly looked forward to and enjoyed the ceremony part just as much as the rest of our day!!

We knew we wanted Nichola from the moment we first read her website. It's rare to be able to truly feel someone's personality without having met them, but I knew we would all really vibe with each other.

Nichola took so much time and care to get to know us and listen to us ramble on for ages about our times together and she used this to make a beautiful ceremony for us. I love that everything was fully customised and we had something unique and quirky for us.

Nichola knew that I didn't enjoy getting up in front of people and the ceremony was a little nerve wracking for me and suggested we do an ice breaker. My partner and I don't like to take ourselves too seriously and definitely wanted something more fun rather than serious. We had a small award ceremony where we gave out awards for longest travel, shortest travel (10 mins haha) etc. So many people commented on this to me after the wedding and how much they enjoyed that and said "it was just so very you". I made handmade badges for the guests at Nichola's suggestion (I love a good arts and crafts) and our guests wore them for the whole day and have them proudly displayed at home.

I could not imagine having a different ceremony. For us, Nichola and Bespoke Celebrant Ceremonies is the one and only option. Nichola is incredible at what she does and we couldn't sing her praises anymore highly.

We loved Nichola because she could give us exactly what we wanted - but she is so versatile. Even if you are somebody who wants a more serious and traditional ceremony, she would be exceptional at this too. We were given lots of options for wording and style and we chose what worked best for us. I just know she would make everybody's ceremony perfect and just the way they want and need it to be.

Nichola is always quick to reply and help when needed. She's incredibly patient even if you ask to change the drafts as many times as you need. It really does feel like you are the only couple in the world when Nichola is working with you. It feels like all her time, focus and attention is on you at all times.

Nichola just has an amazing heart. She genuinely enjoys every minute of being at your wedding. She photographs the brides coming in and took some shots in the ceremony. I really felt so much joy and genuine happiness from her and this made so much difference.

Nichola lead a beautiful service on our wedding day in August 2024. We had so many comments about how personal it was and how people learned something new about us!

Nichola was very easy to work with. We had an initial meeting to discuss brief ideas about the ceremony, then another meeting closer to the time where she really got to know us as a couple. We were then able to review the script and make suggestions and amendments.

We really liked how Nichola provided suggestions and options to guide us through the process. Even though we knew the script going in to the ceremony, she had added in extra bits we weren't expecting like the props... this meant that there was still some surprises for us as well as the guests throughout the ceremony.

On the day Nichola was really good at working with the venue and other vendors like the photographer and singer. She was enthusiastic to be there and it was clear she enjoyed our wedding ceremony as much as we did! She kept everyone calm, especially when my husband realised we had started the ceremony without the rings! She reassured him and kept the show going!
