If you are looking for a personalised ceremony that reflects who you are as a couple look no further! Nichola absolutely beams with all things wedding and really took the time to get to know us. She is easy to talk to, and has a brilliant sense of humour, and is also an incredibly reassuring presence! So when it came to the ceremony script being shared with us, she hit every nail on the head! It has been over a month since our wedding and our guests are still talking about how amazing, lovely, and personal the ceremony was! She threaded through humour, kept it up beat, and kept our guests engaged, and made them (and us!) Cry happy tears. We also received a beautiful copy of the script, and readings that were beautifully made and we have kept safely in our wedding box. We cannot recommend Nichola enough! Shame there isn't an option for 10 out of 5 stars.

It was great, orgnaised very well, lots of time spent beforehand with us to get to know us and bring the ceremony to life in a way that fitted with us.

Nichola is absolutely amazing at what she does and made the whole wedding personal and fit to us in every single way. This was the best decision we made ! We were able to relax and be comfortable up there - we even wrote our own vowels with the help of Nichola to give it even more personalisation. We honestly couldn’t have wished for a better celebrant than Nichola. From the very first conversation, she was warm, friendly and so easy to talk to — it genuinely felt like having an old friend conduct our ceremony.

Before the wedding, Nichola gave us so much of her time. Our Zoom call was relaxed, personal and never once felt rushed. We laughed, chatted and shared stories, and somehow she took all of that and turned it into a ceremony that captured Garry and me perfectly — our personalities, our relationship, our humour and what we mean to each other.

On the day, the ceremony was everything we could have hoped for and more. It was personal, funny, emotional and incredibly touching. At times our guests were laughing, and at others there genuinely wasn’t a dry eye. So many people came up to us afterwards to tell us how beautiful the ceremony was and how refreshing it was to attend something that felt so personal and engaging rather than formal, generic or impersonal.

What made it even more special was Nichola herself. The way she delivered our ceremony made it feel as though one of our best friends was standing there telling our story. She completely understood who we are as a couple, and that made the whole ceremony feel incredibly genuine, natural and full of love.

Nichola also typed up our entire ceremony and presented it beautifully for us afterwards, which means we now have the most wonderful keepsake from one of the happiest days of our lives. It was such a thoughtful extra touch and something we will treasure forever.

If you are looking for a celebrant, we genuinely could not recommend Nichola highly enough. She didn’t simply conduct our ceremony — she made it. It was one of the most memorable and special parts of our entire wedding day, and we feel incredibly lucky that she was the person standing there with us.

Nichola was exactly what we had hoped for. She was the perfect celebrant. She took the time to get to know us and really tailored the ceremony to suit who we are, to help us celebrate our wedding. Even at our first meeting, we felt instantly at ease with her. She gave us guidance with what to expect on the day and supported us through all our emotions. She made sure that each of us got to express our love in our own way. In her script she encompassed humour and romance, using anecdotes and loving words to bring everyone to tears and laughter. We had so many people comment after the ceremony on how well she did and how much she captured us. We are truly grateful for how special she made our day and would recommend her to anyone.

I’ll start this review by saying that my partner and I never thought we’d have a ceremony wedding. But once we discovered celebrants, something that we never thought was an option instantly became something we knew we 100% wanted.
We came across Nichola while planning our wedding at Houchins, and she came highly recommended. After looking through her website, I could immediately feel her personality beaming through, and I knew we had to give her a call.

We were nervous about whether someone could really get to know us and capture our story in the right way. Let me tell you, Nichola did exactly that. Within one call, I felt like she understood us, knew what we wanted, and had got our humour straight away.

Nichola made us feel so comfortable and supported from the very beginning. She helped us understand how the wedding ceremony would work, gave us guidance throughout the planning process, and was always there whenever we needed her. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she made sure we were completely happy with the final ceremony.

We went back and forth finding the right wording and making sure everything felt like us, and honestly, the ceremony ended up being my favourite part of the entire wedding — something I never expected when I first started wedding planning!

Nichola captured our whole story beautifully. She shared little insights and moments that only our closest friends and family would know, which made the ceremony feel so personal and completely ours. The meetings we had with her genuinely felt like we were catching up with a friend. It was clear throughout that she truly cared about us and about making our day special.

I honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better to be part of such an important day. Her voice was so soothing, and she has such a natural storyteller’s voice that completely draws you in. Her bubbly personality also added so much to the day, especially with the banter between her and our guests. And, in a moment I never expected, even walking down the aisle, I was excited to see Nichola!

When we eventually renew our vows, there is absolutely no question that we’ll be coming back to Nichola to capture the next chapter of our story. I feel like she completely understood not just why we wanted to get married, but who we are as a couple, and she set the tone for our whole day perfectly.

Nichola was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. From our very first conversation, she instantly understood us and our “vibe”. She was so friendly, and every time we spoke to her she made us feel completely at ease, which meant we didn’t feel nervous about the ceremony itself.

What we loved most was how personal she made everything. She really listened to us and took the time to understand our relationship, so the ceremony genuinely felt like “us”. We didn’t want anything overly traditional or too soppy, and she created the perfect balance of heartfelt and meaningful but with plenty of humour. She’s very versatile and really good at reading the kind of atmosphere and tone you want.

The whole process felt very collaborative too. She shared drafts with us, listened to our ideas, and worked with both her suggestions and ours to create something that felt completely authentic.

One of the loveliest touches was after the ceremony, when she gave us a beautifully printed copy of the script, readings, and promises in a neat folder. It’s such a special keepsake from the day. We didn’t expect to receive this and now we will be able to look back through this over the years and re-live our ceremony!

Nichola was incredible from start to finish. Our first call felt less like a formal consultation and more like a relaxed chat, yet she somehow captured everything that mattered to us. Nichola created a truly beautiful and meaningful ceremony that felt completely personal.

On the day itself, when Nichola arrived we instantly felt calm and reassured. Her presence was so warm and genuine. We knew straight away we were in safe hands! She brought such a wonderful energy that perfectly complemented the relaxed atmosphere we wanted.

The ceremony itself was everything we could have hoped for: personal, fun, and a perfect reflection of us as a couple. So many of our guests commented on how unique and heartfelt it was, and they especially loved how involved they felt throughout. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better celebrant!

The brief was 'Mum, can you arrange a small intimate wedding for our visit in 6 months time!".
I panicked, of course, but one of my best decisions was to ask Nichola to be our celebrant. With the bride and groom out of the country until a week before the wedding, and a 12 hour time difference to negotiate, all the preparation took place online during unsocial hours at Nichola's busiest time of the year.
She took the time to make sure that our brief was followed to the letter and that it was the bride and groom's special day.
The ceremony itself wasn't the most ordered or solemn, but Nichola knew it was to be a genuine, intimate family affair and made it memorable in so many ways. Nichola kept her composure even when the groom's wedding ring had to be retrieved from the inside of his shirt where it had been placed by his two year old son.

My partner and I first met Nichola at a wedding fayre, at a fairly traditional venue. In a sea of lovely, traditional wedding stalls (a couple of which ended up also being our vendors!), Nichola's stall was colourful and bright and caught our attention immediately. We were already on the lookout for a celebrant, as we wanted to separate our legal process from our ceremony and wanted a ceremony that focused more on us, in a non-traditional sense. We had also decided our wedding colours would be "colourful", so seeing Nichola's stall was like a guiding beacon!

Nichola was polite, but super excited and had a killer portfolio - vows on a ferris wheel anyone? We talked all things us and her and about what we wanted for our ceremony, and came away knowing that Nichola would be the celebrant for us.

We then had a fantastic video call with Nichola, where we discussed the process and went into more details about what a ceremony could look like for us. Nichola casually floated what turned out to be one of the best ideas of the day by us in this meeting - have our rings in a cryptex! We got engaged in an escape room and the rings were hidden in a cryptex then, so why not have the same storage at our wedding? Ideas such as that, and a huge knowledge of weddings in general, are what got us our amazing ceremony, and we couldn't be happier with how it all turned out!

Nichola was professional, but energetic, and completely focused on making sure we had the day we wanted. Our script is amazing, and our guests and ourselves were having to stop ourselves from crying during the ceremony. Every time I looked at Nichola, she was beaming and clearly loving what she does, which is the best thing to see at such a wonderful moment! It helped put us all at ease, and made for a beautiful start to a magical day.

Many of our guests have commented on how amazing the ceremony was, and how much they loved the story of us being told during it. As a surprise bonus, Nichola took some of our favourite photos from the day - I've attached a photo of myself and my bridesmaids (the 'stairwell shot') and one of me and my partner on a blue background, both taken by Nichola. We love both of these, and they capture truly candid moments of us just before and after the ceremony.

When booking our ceremony we both felt very overwhelmed by the idea of a 'celebrant ceremony' - it wasn't something we had ever heard of. We had several calls with celebrants and felt lost until we found Nichola.
Nichola took the time to really get to know us individually and as a couple and that shined through during our ceremony. Nichola had everyone laughing, crying and smiling from the minute the ceremony started.

I first came across Nichola at a wedding I attended and from experiencing that celebrant-led ceremony it was clear to me that is exactly what I wanted for my own wedding! When the time came, we spoke to a few celebrants that were more local to us, but we both knew that Nichola was the one for us - she was fun, personable and really took the time to get to know us and our story. The script she had written after our meeting was the perfect balance of humour and emotion and encapsulated our love story perfectly. So many of our guests have said how much they loved the ceremony (usually the boring bit, right!?) and how personal and meaningful it was to us and our relationship. We definitely recommend Nichola!!
