I truly believe the best part of your wedding day is your ceremony, it is after all the very reason you have gathered everyone together! Everyone is super excited to witness you promising to love each other for your lifetime, so surely you would want your ceremony to be all about you?
I’m dedicated to producing one-of-a-kind ceremonies. I get to know you to find out what you would like (if your not sure what that is don't panic, I'm on your team!) I'm there to offer lots of suggestions and guidance to make it perfect for you. I then craft a showstopping script, encapsulating the romance of you, sparkling with your personality.
Experience
I have worked for over 3 decades within the Wedding Industry. I'm proud to have worked at some stunning venues in a variety of roles - Wedding & Event Coordinator, Head of Wedding Planning and Wedding Venue Manager (and loved every minute!)
I trained with the UK Society of Celebrants and gained a Diploma in FamiIy and Funeral Celebrancy.

Not being affiliated to any particular faith or Religion means I am very happy to include anything that is important to you. You can still have traditional elements but let's make it more modern to bring your ceremony choices right up to date.
I offer wedding, commitment, elopement and vow renewal ceremonies. All ceremonies I write are beautiful, bespoke and filled with fun, laughter and celebration and delivered with flair and personality.

Couldn't have done it without Nichola....!
When booking our ceremony we both felt very overwhelmed by the idea of a 'celebrant ceremony' - it wasn't something we had ever heard of. We had several calls with celebrants and felt lost until we found Nichola.
Nichola took the time to really get to know us individually and as a couple and that shined through during our ceremony. Nichola had everyone laughing, crying and smiling from the minute the ceremony started.
Nichola, thank you so much for marrying us - you were amazing. And a special thank you for our memory booklet - such a beautiful touch that made me ball my eyes out the following morning!!

I would 100% recommend Nichola!
Nichola was amazing from day 1! She got to know us as individuals as well as a couple, then made the perfect script for our big day. She told our story perfectly and we loved every moment of it. On the day Nichola helped so much to calm Harvey’s nerves during the lead up to the ceremony and then helped me relax knowing that everything was ready. We could not have asked for a better celebrate and we would recommend Nichola to everyone.

Highly recommend!
I first came across Nichola at a wedding I attended and from experiencing that celebrant-led ceremony it was clear to me that is exactly what I wanted for my own wedding! When the time came, we spoke to a few celebrants that were more local to us, but we both knew that Nichola was the one for us - she was fun, personable and really took the time to get to know us and our story. The script she had written after our meeting was the perfect balance of humour and emotion and encapsulated our love story perfectly. So many of our guests have said how much they loved the ceremony (usually the boring bit, right!?) and how personal and meaningful it was to us and our relationship. We definitely recommend Nichola!!

Perfection!
Booking Nichola was one of the best decision we made for our wedding!
Our ceremony was perfect for us - it had a beautiful balance reflecting our sense of humour and the deep emotion we both felt on the day. Nichola made us, and our loved ones, laugh and cry - and it truly felt like a celebration of the love and joy we’d found together.
We felt reassured she was a safe pair of hands - and seeing her before walking down the aisle brought a calm and confidence that everything was going to be just right. It was also such a help to have her read our vows so we could keep them private from each other, but know that they would fit well together and no one would be left feeling embarrassed!
We had a number of compliments from guests about how personal and celebratory the ceremony felt - and we are so delighted Nichola helped us share that ❤️

We just wanted to say a huge thank you for being a part of our special day, it was truly one of the most memorable moments of our lives. Everyone commented on how amazing you were and that they could feel the love and happiness and for also including the people who were not able to be there. It meant so much to my family who were very emotional. My elder brother actually took a rose from my bouquet and the next day delivered it all the way to his grave in Lancashire. He was very moved, as was I. Apart from feeling like I was going to pass out with nerves 😅.
I am sure on the day I said thank you but so hard to remember as it was very overwhelming. I just wanted you to know we were so grateful for everything you wrote, from start to finish you have been amazing.

The best Celebrant out there!
We had the best experience working with Nichola for our wedding earlier this month, at Stockwith Mill. From the first time we met her, we knew she was the celebrant for us. She understood us; both as a couple and as individuals, loved every idea we had, and her script told our story in a beautiful, romantic but humorous way I just don't think anyone else would have been able to capture. She was always on the other end of an email and responded so quickly, despite being so booked up with other weddings.
Nichola, you made our day the best we could ever wish for. Our guests loved you and felt like they'd known you and you'd known us for years. We can't thank you enough!

Best celebrant in the biz!
We were so grateful for the amazing service we received with Nichola. She truly took the time to get to know us and hear all about our quirks and love story, and wrote the most beautiful ceremony which has us all tearing up. We felt like we were in such a safe pair of hands from start to finish. Our ceremony was one of the most special parts of the day, and was exactly how we wanted it, traditional feeling with none of the rigidity, and so much more personality. To top it off, we came away with a beautiful folder with a certificate and lovely keepsake print outs to look back on in years to come. We love you! A million thanks again for making our day xxx

The Best Day!
Nichola was amazing to work with, right from the beginning!
She spent time getting to know us both and included so many personal touches in our ceremony.
When I mentioned my family is Scottish, she asked if we wanted to include a Quaich ritual as part of our ceremony, which was absolutely great!
Our ceremony was perfect and many of our guests commented on how brilliant it was!

A perfect personalised ceremony
If you are looking to make your ceremony more fun and personal, Nichola is the celebrant you need! She was so great from start to finish from the phone/zoom calls to get to know us in detail, to writing our script until it was perfect! Everyone was laughing and crying happy tears which is what a wedding is all about! She checks in on you before and throughout the day and made sure everyone felt involved and happy. Thank you Nichola you were amazing!!

Our Dream Ceremony Come True
We are so incredibly grateful to have found Nichola. From the very beginning, she made us feel calm, supported, and completely at ease in the lead up to our wedding. Fabulous Nichola gave us the ceremony we had dreamed of
Nichola was wonderful from start to finish. She took the time to get to know us and was both very willing to listen to what we were dreaming of for our ceremony & also full of good suggestions and helpful steer. The final ceremony was really beautiful and exactly what we had been hoping for as we celebrated our marriage - with Nichola it really did feel like a 'celebration' and not just a formal process. Huge thanks to Nichola and would highly recommend her.

May 2025 - best day of our lives!
After a short video call with Nichola, we knew that the search for the perfect celebrant for our wedding was over.
Despite planning it all from Australia, the process was seamless and took away the stress, leaving excitement and fun. Nichola was a joy to work with and collaborated with the venue and other suppliers on the day, making it such a special celebration for us and our families and friends who travelled the world to be there.
