Nichola Collinson, Bespoke Celebrant Ceremonies

Well what can we say? As a shall we say "Mature" couple we have both been through the wedding process before and decided to try again with a married way of life. Date booked, caterers sorted, guest list written only thing left was a celebrant! As neither of us are particularly religious we decided on an independent celebrant and we were recommended by our venue to look at Nichola's website and services (amongst others) we are so glad we did! From our first online chats to actually meeting Nichola the process was fun yet very professional. She "got us" she understood where we were coming from and what we were looking to do. We sat together for about an hour and we answered lots of questions and told our stories. What impressed us the most was that the meeting was not all about Nichola, it was to find out about what made us tick, what made us to decide to get married, what attracted us to each other, how did we see our lives together developing.
After that meeting we waited for Nichola's draft service - Wow! She now knew more about us than we did!
Come wedding day Nichola was at the venue to help, advise, calm the odd nerve and be just like one of our oldest friends. She took us in hand and we just knew it was going to be good.
The service itself was simply magnificent. She first made everyone feel comfortable and clearly was out to make sure our guests enjoyed things as much as we were going to. She filled the room with laughter and love, our guests were loving the way she described us and our history together, learning some things they never knew. She has the knack of reading the room perfectly, she had myself and my bride in stitches and tears in equal measure, she knew when to bring in the solemnity of the occasion and when to make us laugh. It was fantastic, absolutely fantastic!
If you are looking for a celebrant to host your wedding look no further, Nichola Collinson IS the best!

The perfect blend of professionalism and personalisation!

A massive thank you to Nichola for making our ceremony so perfect. All our guests commented on how wonderful it was to be made so personal. I can’t believe how after just a couple of meetings Nichola knew exactly the vibe we wanted and worked her magic. Both Carl and myself will be forever grateful for how special Nichola made our day.

One of the best choices we made for our wedding ❤️

Our ceremony was everything we could have asked for and more. We so appreciate all the time and effort Nichola put into getting it just right and couldn’t be more happy with our choice to have a celebrant and to have chosen Nichola! So many guests as well have said to us how much they loved the ceremony and it’s so special to have people (including ourselves!) have enjoyed the ceremony rather than it just feeling like a formality.

The best celebrant ever!!

We just wanted to drop you a quick message to thank you so so much for all of your help and your services. You honestly went above and beyond for us in helping with our vows and Gavs speech. So many people commented on how amazing the ceremony was and you really did do a fantastic job. We hope you cracked the Aperol open when got home and had a well deserved glass. Truly bespoke

Nichola took the time to get to know us, hear our story, let us go back and forth a few times with revised drafts, and turned it all into a wonderful ceremony for us on the day for all to enjoy. Even though we were arranging our wedding remotely from abroad, Nichola’s correspondence over emails and guidance over Zoom throughout the process meant we could choose exactly what went in/out of the text and knew exactly how things would flow on the day. We only met her in person for the first time on the day itself, yet it seemed like we’d known each other for ages! Thank you for making our day so special.

I just knew straight away when I saw your profile I wanted you at our wedding, I knew that we would just click. We had a very interesting face time where we discussed the last 10 years of adventures and almost catastrophic journeys in Rhodes. lol. How on earth you came up with such beautiful words about us and included family members past and present I’ll never quite get my head around. The way you worded our relationship and the fun way you spoke will be a memory that will last forever. You truly blew us away with those words and you took everyone at our ceremony along those 10 years of our dating with us. You really are amazing at what you do, I can’t believe it’s over and we won’t need to message. Nothing was ever to much trouble for you. You truly are one of life’s treasures and we loved sharing our day and our journey to married life with you.

She spent so much time getting to know us, how we met and put every tiny detail into our ceremony. All our family and friends were saying how wonderful our ceremony was as it was so personal to us and captured our relationship perfectly. Nichola was so brilliant and attentive - she checked in regularly to see how we were getting on and had sooo much fab advice. It really shows how amazing a supplier is for your wedding when you are sad for them to leave and this was 100% the case with Nichola, we would have loved for her to join in the whole day and celebrate with us. Nichola was a perfect match for our unique wedding experience at Hedingham Castle. We were arranging everything from the US and she made our communication an easy process. . Nicola was able to capture all the things we wanted to say at the ceremony but didn't know how to put it all into words ourselves. she made the day perfect for the couple and for our British and American guests. she is very professional in her unique ceremonies. Highly recommend.
