About
Feeling like you don't quite 'fit' in the wedding world?
I'm Kathryn, a people-loving, equality-loving, cat-loving, highly experienced Wedding Celebrant, trained and accredited by Humanists UK.
My mission: every couple enjoys a ceremony that truly celebrates them.
I work with couples who are prioritising joy over tradition. Couples who want to feel truly celebrated for who they are, in a ceremony that balances warmth, fun, emotion and connection, rather than formality, tradition and spectacle.
I know how it feels not to see yourself represented when planning a wedding. So I specialise in intimate, accessible, relaxed, feminist weddings for couples who don't see themselves reflected in the wedding world:
- Maybe you're introverted, or nervous about feeling 'on display'.
- Maybe you're celebrating love for the second (third, or fourth) time.
- Perhaps you're Neurodivergent, Disabled, or managing your mental health and need your ceremony to prioritise your comfort.
- Perhaps you're navigating tricky family dynamics and want to avoid assumptions about what 'family' and support mean.
I see you!
You deserve a wedding or civil partnership ceremony that makes you feel seen, heard, and celebrated! A wedding ceremony that prioritises your comfort instead of making you feel like the proverbial square peg.
As your wedding celebrant, I'll make sure that instead of feeling constrained by tradition, expectations, assumptions and/or the patriarchy(!), your wedding ceremony is full of warmth, fun and joy.
You deserve to be celebrated, and I'd be honoured to celebrate you!
I'm a proud South East Londoner, but I lead ceremonies across London, the South and Beyond!
Celebrant Kathryn is a wedding celebrant operating out of South East London.
