Not your normal wedding photos!!

Jenny absolutely nailed our brief of 'capture the fun!' we were beyond thrilled with the results of our wedding photos. She even edited a collage for us, to do a social media announcement on the day! If you're looking for something unique with a rock 'n' roll vibe, look no further! We LOVED the results!! You also get an engagement shoot as well!! The quality of the photos are unbelievable, we are overwhelmed with how amazing they are!!

Highly highly recommend Jenny!!

Jenny photographed our wedding in September and was absolutely phenomenal!!! From our first consultation call, Jenny was warm, friendly, knowledgeable - and immediately put us both at ease. She was super communicative and easy to make arrangements with throughout the process, and offered great wedding planning tips (we found our band based on her suggestion!).

We booked her 8 hour wedding day package, which came with a complimentary engagement shoot. The engagement shoot was such a great experience - highly recommend it to get into the groove! Jenny helped us pick a fun and meaningful location (our former local city farm!) and then we just had a fun day of wandering together, with Jenny chatting, guiding us into natural poses, and capturing us laughing.

On the wedding day, Jenny was a ninja at artfully floating throughout the prep, the celebrations and the party to snap us and all our friends and family. Her photos were absolutely beautiful, and so perfectly captured the ‘feel’ of the day. They were exactly what we had envisioned, plus more!

We cannot thank her enough for all of her help and support throughout, and for being such an amazing, integral part of our day!!

You (Should) only get one shot at Marriage, so choose wisely

Most people are only planning on having the one wedding, so choosing a photographer that can wear many hats and document the best day of your life is quite a decision, especially if you've never had any interaction with professional photographers before, like we hadn't.

We chose Jenny because we liked photographs we had seen her produce on her website/socials, her style/general vibe and background.

So we reached out and scheduled a consultation phone call which was very easy to book in and was conducted on time.

We became fast friends over the phone call as we got to know a bit more about her and vice versa, she explained lots of things on this call, took some prelimenary information and ideas we had about the day and our general itenerary, must haves, things we arent that interested in etc and she gave general advice at this stage, as well as sharing that as it wasn't her first rodeo she has tons of links to other wedding based suppliers - dressmakers, venues, flowers etc etc.

All in all a really friendly and helpful consultation with her, so we booked her for our day.

We went with her day package - approx 8 hours continuous (but she has different options how to take these hours).
That also came with a 2 hour engagement shoot included (which we used to get photos of us and our cat because we are awesome).

The engagement shoot was a brilliant opportunity to spend a couple of hours together, get comfortable around each other, share some more information about what sort of photographs you wanted and how the day will go. Again Jenny was on time, friendly and made us feel comfortable, and we received lots of brilliant shots from her.

In the ensuing months and then nearer to the build up to the day itself, she was responsive in the back and forth finalising details, itineraries etc whilst also making clear her response times, admin days fell on which days and when to expect responses.

On the day itself, she was again, on time! And she bloody nailed it exactly how we had planned!
When she needed to take charge for the more staged photographs she did in a calm and professional manner, when we had some last minute ideas of shots she explained what would/wouldn’t work, what would be better for the lighting conditions etc.

But mostly she was flitting around unseen in the background grabbing amazing candid shots of how the day was unfolding, and then she was on the dancefloor come the evening navigating around everyone's flailing limbs capturing the good (people looking stunning, having a great time dancing), the bad (people looking worse for wear, very important to have the odd funny/bad photograph of your nearest and dearest), and the ugly (my dancing).

Post event, Jenny was again very responsive, friendly and clear about when we should expect to receive our photographs and she got them back much earlier than originally expected. She even got us a little wedding gift, which was a very thoughtful and nice, albeit unexpected surprise.

If you need a friendly, professional and experienced photographer for your wedding, especially if you are more interested in the less posey version of the day then we can’t recommend Jenny enough.

From start to finish we felt like we were in very capable hands!
