Martin officiated our wedding on 26 August 2026, and without question he was the standout supplier of our entire day. He didn’t simply conduct our ceremony; he helped make the whole wedding what it was. Fantastic! A celebration!

From leading the ceremony with the perfect balance of flair, fun, warmth and dignity, to MCing our speeches and bringing the evening to life with an unforgettable drag performance, Martin was exceptional from beginning to end. Every single guest was made to feel included in the joy and love of the occasion.

What makes Martin particularly special is his ability to read a room. Our guests ranged from teenagers through to those in their late 90s, and he connected effortlessly with everyone. He knew exactly when to make people laugh, when to bring the energy and when to allow the emotion and significance of the moment to take centre stage.

Long before the wedding day, Martin invested hours getting to know us as a couple and individually, learning our story. From meeting us in person to multiple online meetings, he took the time to understand our relationship, our personalities and exactly how we wanted our wedding to feel. Every element was carefully tailored around us rather than feeling like a standard ceremony or performance.

And then there is Maria Hurtz. What a performer! The evening drag performance was an absolute highlight and had our guests laughing, cheering and completely engaged. Maria brought the room alive — and, it has to be said, the makeup was absolutely ON POINT.

Martin is extraordinarily talented, professional, warm and genuinely passionate about creating something special for the couples he works with. He didn’t just officiate our wedding; he became part of the experience and helped create memories that Ben and I, and our guests, will talk about for years.

I can’t thank Martin enough for this experience. All of our guests remarked how unique and special our ceremony was. Martin was very genuine and kind, able to weave a lovely story together for us and our guests.

I hired Martin as Maria Hurtz to host a work hen do for a friend and she was INCREDIBLE! We worked together beforehand to plan the surprise, and nothing was too much trouble. Maria hosted a really fun quiz and a couple of rounds of bingo to get everyone in the party mood - and she went down a storm.
