There’s only one word we'd use to describe Emma and everything about her: AMAZING.

From the moment we met Emma on an introductory video call, we knew she was the perfect celebrant for us. She’s incredibly warm, kind and genuinely invested in the couples she works with. She took the time to understand our vision and offered thoughtful ideas when we weren’t quite sure what we wanted ourselves.

From that very first conversation, we felt completely confident that we were in safe hands, and that feeling only grew throughout the entire process. Her communication and responsiveness were exceptional, and she was organised, prepared and professional from start to finish.

One thing that was particularly important to us was finding someone who could create a ceremony that was heartfelt and meaningful without feeling cheesy or overly jokey (which we know is exactly what some couples want, just not us!). Emma understood that immediately and absolutely nailed the tone. The ceremony felt so personal and completely “us”.

Although we'd finalised our script several weeks before the wedding, we unexpectedly needed to make a last-minute change just two days beforehand. Emma very kindly accommodated it without hesitation. We know this wasn't ideal, and we're incredibly grateful for her flexibility and generosity. It only reinforced how committed she is to making her couples feel comfortable and happy.

What stands out even more than the beautiful ceremony she wrote is Emma herself. On the wedding day, she had this wonderfully calming presence. Every time we saw her it felt like, "Ah... breathe." She instantly put us at ease.

My young nephew was our ring bearer, and she was fantastic with him, gently guiding him through exactly what to do and where to stand. At one point I completely blanked and forgot where I was supposed to stand and when to hand over my bouquet, but Emma calmly and discreetly guided me so everything felt completely seamless.

Our family and friends all commented afterwards on how lovely Emma was and how personal and meaningful the ceremony felt. They all felt like they knew us better afterwards, which is exactly what we had hoped for.

I genuinely can't think of a single constructive thing to say about Emma's service – and that's saying something, because I have very high standards! We feel incredibly lucky that she was available for our wedding. She made us feel so special, and by the end of the process she felt like someone we'd known for years.

We'd already spoken to several celebrants before meeting Emma, so we had a really good sense of what we were looking for. The difference with Emma was immediate.

Emma was incredibly supportive and attentive throughout the whole process, always making us feel at ease and confident every step of the way. Emma was fantastic throughout the whole ceremony planning process. We are so grateful that we hired a celebrant like her to make our ceremony personalised and meaningful. We also had a small registry office legal ceremony prior to our wedding that was quite boilerplate, so we were thankful that we had a celebrant on our big day. Emma really got to know us over the course of many months leading up to the wedding. She was attentive and thoughtful throughout as we selected our readings (some quite unconventional poetry) and as she wrote a ceremony script that told our story. We were really impressed that she understood our story so well even on the first draft of the ceremony script. She was flexible with last minute changes as we tweaked things. She was also great in coordinating with our venue so that guests were orchestrated from one area to another smoothly. In the end, our ceremony was perfect! There were funny bits, romantic bits, and Emma told our story so well. It was perfectly “us”. Everything went off without a hitch and it was the best day if our lives!
