Wedding Catering in York

We had the absolute pleasure of having Babaganoush as the caterers for our wedding, and they were exceptional from start to finish. Food is a huge part of my wife’s and I’s life, so choosing the right caterers was a big decision for us. Babaganoush exceeded every expectation. Maisie and the team were incredible throughout. They were always quick to respond, attentive to every detail, and accommodating of any request. Our bespoke tasting session was amazing, and they even created custom dishes just for us. Before the big day, the team were proactive in setting up the kitchen and the venue, which really helped alleviate any stress. On the day itself, they arrived promptly, served phenomenal food (many guests said it was the best wedding food they’d ever had), and delivered flawless service. To top it all off, it was such a lovely touch to receive a bottle of fizz and well wishes from the team. We honestly couldn’t recommend Babaganoush more highly.

The most amazing food, and super friendly staff! I cannot believe how many of our guests have complimented the food to us (well, actually I can!) I wish I was getting married again so we could eat the meal all over again!

Martin and Shannen were absolutely amazing throughout, we can't thank them enough! We were really happy to find Honest Supper Club as we wanted to serve veggie food at our wedding without making a statement of it, the food was truly delicious and everyone was well fed and full of compliments. It was great for all our guests to be able to eat the same thing together and made it more enjoyable for us too as there was no FOMO about other meals. They were so helpful from our initial enquiry to the day its self, they helped us work out which menu would work best for our wedding and they pulled it all off without a hitch. We wish we could do it all again, thanks again Martin, Shannen and your lovely team! We'll forever be thinking about your food.

Dough Disciples were brilliant. Amazing pizza, service and energy. They were a dream to work with - so efficient and professional. Everything was seamless. The guests loved the truck, the pizza and the staff! I would 100% recommend, in fact, I can't wait to host another event to use them again!

Cannot find a single fault - accommodating, flexible, staff outstanding and given not tasted food before booking - had been unsure of quality but was 5 star - proper home baked bread, real dark chocolate profiteroles, roulade melt in your mouth - everything was a very high standard. Everyone at our reception commented on how amazing the food was. We contacted pastelle as they were a recommended caterer from our venue (NCEM, York). From the initial emails, through to food tasting and throughout our day, they were incredible. They were super responsive, flexible with dietary requirements (they made the entire menu nut and mustard free for the brides allergy, and confirmed every meat was halal). Steph and Phoebe were both so easy to work with and so professional - Steph was so patient with last minute changes to seating plans as well. The food itself. Sensational. We have had so many messages and comments on the day about how amazing it was, the best wedding food people have ever had, and incredibly generous portion sizes. Nicole and Steph were so friendly and checked in on us regularly during the day to make sure we were happy. It was an absolute pleasure booking them (and to be fed by them!) and we will DEFINITELY be coming to some supper clubs when we're back up north. Thank you Pastelle!
