We contacted pastelle as they were a recommended caterer from our venue (NCEM, York). From the initial emails, through to food tasting and throughout our day, they were incredible. They were super responsive, flexible with dietary requirements (they made the entire menu nut and mustard free for the brides allergy, and confirmed every meat was halal). Steph and Phoebe were both so easy to work with and so professional - Steph was so patient with last minute changes to seating plans as well.

The food itself. Sensational. We have had so many messages and comments on the day about how amazing it was, the best wedding food people have ever had, and incredibly generous portion sizes.

Nicole and Steph were so friendly and checked in on us regularly during the day to make sure we were happy. It was an absolute pleasure booking them (and to be fed by them!) and we will DEFINITELY be coming to some supper clubs when we're back up north.

Pastelle kitchen catered and hosted our post wedding meal in August 2025. From the very start of the planning process nothing was too much trouble and everything was stress free. The event itself went perfectly, the venue was beautiful, the staff exceptionally lovely and the food was to die for, with many guests saying that it was one of the best meals they've ever had. Portions were generous, perhaps too much so, and everyone left feeling absolutely stuffed! Thank you so much to the Pastelle team.... we'll be back for one of your pop-ups soon!

Pastelle provided the most delicious food for our wedding. Many of our guests (and the photographers) said it was the best food they’d had at a wedding. They catered for 120 people at a marquee wedding and for all dietary requirements with delicious alternatives. We had a great experience at the food tasting a few months before the wedding. They were quick to reply to emails and even catered for last minute changes. The menu was fresh, colourful and cooked to perfection. We wish we could do it all over again. Thanks to Steph, Nicole and the rest of the team for helping to make our day so special. Worth every penny!

We were recommended to Pastelle through our venue, Riverlands, as we were looking for a vegan caterer. My husband is vegan but I’m not, so there was a sweet spot to hit of it being good enough to convince me but equally without trying to replicate none vegan options (i.e your typical meat replacements etc).

We came to Pastelle to meet Steph and Nicole initially who couldn’t have been friendlier. We immediately got the vibe that nothing is too much for them and everything we wanted was possible. They helped us with their own options and others too, recommending other suppliers for different wedding services based on their own past experience which was a huge help.

We since visited Pastelle’s pop up events at their own stunning venue countless times with various friends and family members for ideas for food on the day (which was SO helpful as you think you’ve nailed it and then they somehow whip out something even more delicious than the last time). They were also kind enough to offer a private dining event for just us, which made everything feel so real and really exciting.

Pastelle’s food is not only unbelievably tasty but incredibly visually enticing. There’s so many things you just don’t think of as a bride and how your food will photograph was certainly one for me - it’s bright, it’s vibrant and it’s a major wow factor. We have some mega foodies amongst our friends and family who are difficult to impress, and every one has commented on how good the food was.

Above all, the team at Pastelle are the best around bar none. We had so many ideas that they incorporated and also improved on - the staff are so friendly and yet so professional, and extremely approachable. At no point did we feel pressured by them to either book or make a decision on the final menu, but instead encouraged and fully supported us throughout.

We cannot recommend Pastelle enough. They’re a lifeline through the planning process, and an amazing supplier you can really put your trust in.

We’ve been to tonnes of weddings and nothing comes close to Pastelle. If you’re hesitating even slightly, just book onto a pop up event and let the food do the talking.

Pastelle catered for our legal wedding and it was everything we could have asked for and more. We hosted our family at their pop up restaurant in York, where we had exclusive access to the venue for the afternoon. My wife and I are big foodies and Nicole and the team absolutely smashed it out the park, everything was absolutely delicious, looked stunning and super generous portion sizes. Our family still talk about the food for this day. Would highly recommend!
