Hi, I’m Guy, owner of Bistro Guy!
My journey started in York, where I ran my own bistro for over 10 years before taking the leap into mobile catering in 2019. I wanted to take my passion for great food out on the road and bring something a little different to weddings, parties and events.
What started as a new adventure has grown into a fantastic business, with our converted vintage horse trailers serving up freshly made sourdough wood-fired pizzas and our much-loved seasoned fries at events across Yorkshire.
For me, Bistro Guy has always been about more than just the food. I love meeting new people, being part of someone’s special day and seeing guests enjoying themselves around our trailers. Whether we're catering for an intimate wedding, a big corporate event or a local village gathering, I want every customer to feel they’re getting a personal service from a team that genuinely cares.
I’m incredibly proud of how far Bistro Guy has come, and I’m lucky to have a brilliant team alongside me who share the same passion for good food and great service.

Hi, I’m Emma – Guy’s Sister and Business Partner!
I’m Emma, and I’m the person behind the scenes at Bistro Guy, looking after all our event enquiries and helping bring your plans to life!
Before joining Bistro Guy, I spent 12 years working in financial training in London, which gave me the fantastic opportunity to travel around the world. But in 2019, after years in the big city, I decided it was time to head back home to God’s Own County – Yorkshire!
As it happens, this was around the same time Guy was taking the leap from running his successful bistro in York into the world of mobile catering. I initially started out helping him whenever I could, but it didn't take long before we realised we made a pretty good team!
What began as me lending a hand soon turned into us joining forces as brother and sister to grow Bistro Guy into the business it is today.
I love being part of the journey and helping couples, businesses and event organisers create something special. From your first enquiry right through to the big day, I’ll be here to answer your questions, talk through your ideas and make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible.
For us, Bistro Guy is a family business at heart, and we take real pride in giving every customer a personal service and making sure the food is just as memorable as the occasion.
