Just an absolutely amazing boutique! I came with my mum and they made us feel like old friends. They really know their stuff and know off the bat the perfect dress for you.

I found my dream dress in my first and only appointment. The girls got my vision spot on and were so patient with me during the process. It can feel like a big decision choosing your dream dress but the staff were fantastic with supporting me and helped finding my dream dress. Can’t thank them enough 🤍

I was petrified of going wedding dress shopping - as someone who hates looking at herself in the mirror the idea of having to do it for 2 hours in lots of dresses was beyond daunting! Anna and Devvon were fantastic, really put me at ease and were great at pulling dresses on the vague descriptions we gave her of what I do and don’t like! When we walked up to the shop we said we loved the dress in the window, and after trying on several others and listening to their recommendations that was the dress I said yes to! Thank you for a lovely afternoon, I didn’t feel self-conscious and actually had that moment where I felt beautiful in a dress, and can’t wait to come and collect it when it comes in! You guys were amazing and I’ll be recommending you to everyone I know

First bridal shop i have visited and found my dream dress! Could not recommend this bridal shop enough!

I had the most unforgettable experience at So Gorgeous Bridal, special thanks to Devvon, Ruby, Anna, and the entire team. From the very first appointment and saying 'yes to the dress', they made me feel welcomed and truly cared for.

Finding the dress was such an emotional moment—when I put it on, I just knew. It was absolutely perfect. On the day, it felt like a second skin—so comfortable, so me, and I didn’t want to take it off.

Devvon celebrated that moment with me in such a genuine, heartfelt way, the whole team handled every detail with such care and professionalism. Each fitting was seamless, and the dress fit like it was made just for me - which it was thanks to Jo from 'Sew by Jo'.

I honestly can't thank So Gorgeous enough for the incredible experience throughout my wedding journey. I went wedding dress shopping about a year before my big day, and the team made me feel completely at ease and so special.

I’m very disappointed with so gorgeous and their recommended seamstress.
I went in October to buy a dress. Initial appointment was ok, I got to try on a lot of dresses, I got it down to 2 and then finally choose one dress, the dress I tried was considerably too big for me and both Devvon and Anna reassured me that it would be ordered to my size and then just need tweaks, measurements were taken and the dress arrived end of Jan. I went to try the dress and when I put it on it was as big as the one I had tried on in the first appointment. Approx 8 inches too big around the waist and bust. But somewhat fit around the bum. Swiftly I was pulled in at the back. I expressed that I was concered by how big the dress was and that taking so much in at the side would ruin the rouching and cut it off at a wider part, I was assured that was the seamstress job and she knew what she was doing. I also ordered some pearl belts to the cost of £130, which were supposed to be delivered that day with my dress. I was told they had a clear out the day before and they have been misplaced and they would give them to the seamstress that Friday.
I emailed sew with Jo. Their recommended seamstress to book an appointment for two weeks later at the earliest available app on a Monday. I went direct to Jo because she was located only 1 mile from my house. I took the dress and she pinned it loosely on me, I asked whether she had the pearls and she said oh no no Im collecting next week. This confused me slightly as they had explicitly told me that they would be giving her them on that Friday two weeks before. I left the dress with Jo and arranged to collect 5 weeks later.
I collected the dress from Jo and when I tried it on the first thing I noticed was the pearls that had been sewn on were flopping back and forward on the top. Meaning that they were uneven, when I said about it Jo said I would have to place them in place … I also noticed a large buckled gather across the front of the boob. The dress size wise was fitting throughout the waist but as I did fear, having taken a minimum of 2 inches of each side, front and back has indeed meant that the rouching had been cut off and now was much less flattering. I was quoted £200 by Jo at the first app and then when I went to pay was told it would be £215.
I paid and left.
I took the dress home feeling uneasy and took the dress up to my mums, who was with me upon the very first fitting and on collection of it from so gorgeous.
When I put it on instantly my mum was utterly shocked, the pearls was hanging all over. The side seems were uneven and puckered. The rouching on the boob was terrible. The sleeves were hanging and at the back buckled when my arms were neutral.
At this point I knew I couldn’t wear the dress as it was.
My mum, unqualified but highly skilled set about making good the work. And we decided the best course of action was to remove the terribly sewn on pearls and the sleeves. This is where I swiftly noticed that the 3 pearl belts I have purchased were in fact not the same colour and was abundantly clear when next to each other. Begs the question as to why I never saw them.
Upon further inspection of the dress my mum noticed very very poorly sewn seams and took pictures throughout.
I sent an email to so gorgeous to tell them how distressed and unhappy I was now 4 weeks out from my wedding day.
They first offered me to come into the shop with the dress and then proceeded to tell me the dress just needed steaming. I sent pictures of the dress and they claimed they couldn’t see the faults in the pictures.
I then received a message from Jo saying she has spoken with Anna and Devvon and been told I was unhappy, to which I replied the same message and same pictures. She ignored my message about the belts being the different colours, and told me she failed to notice the buckled stitch across the front of the dress and that she thought the dress looked lovely on me.
I stopped my communication with both so gorgeous and sew with Jo at this point to enable me to enjoy the day and let me mother do the best she could. With now only 2 weeks to go my mum did an outstanding job of adjusting the top of the dress but unfortunately there were still puckered seams along the edge which I had to wear as they were as time was up.

It’s unfortunate that so gorgeous and sew with Jo couldn’t acknowledge their faults. Selling me a dress that clearly wasn’t suitable for my frame and then proceeding to do the worst alterations I’ve seen. All to the grand cost of over £1700.

I won’t be recommending either business and as someone who works in an industry exposed to many women locally I will certainly be passing around my experience with honesty.

the BEST experience I could’ve ever wanted, and I wish I could relive my appointment all over again as it was just so magical, relaxed and enjoyable. I knew for a while I wanted So gorgeous to be the first shop I visited and im so glad it was. Anna and Devvon are so welcoming, and at no point did I feel pressured or rushed. I found my dream dress and it’s everything I could want and more. I tried on various styles but I knew this paticular dress was the one and I even got to take it home the same day. When I said Yes to the dress, the little details from the drinks to the gift bag made me feel so special. Highly recommend you to every bride and the shop is the most beautiful shop I’ve ever stepped foot in.

I stumbled across so gorgeous last Christmas 2023 with 10 months until my wedding and I found my dream dress on the same day which was all down to Anna & Devvon’s expertise. You are made to feel so special from the minute you arrive until the day you pick your dress up. Look no further and book your appointment, you will not be disappointed ♥️ will forever be a highlight of my wedding planning x

I have been looking at wedding dresses for a couple of months, have visited around 5 different shops across Bristol and Cardiff and unfortunately just couldn't find 'the one' everything else I had tried was very simple but for me didn't have the wow factor.

The ladies here were AMAZING!!!
Firstly you are not charged an arm and leg for an appointment!
I gave them notes on dresses I had tried on and things that I had liked about certain dresses and things I hadn't liked.

I visited with my mum, sister and baby we had a lovely cup od coffee and Anna had explained she already had a dress in mind for me.

Well, what can I say, I actually had that special moment every bride dreams of having and I am soooo excited now for it to arrive! She really listened to everything I had wanted so there was no need for me to look at anything else.

Price wise, again couldn't believe how reasonable the dress prices were. I was able to get dress, jacket and veil for just over £2k!!

Don't go to the mainstream bridal shops, the service just isn't the same, I promise you won't regret visiting So gorgeous 🥰

I cannot put in to words how thankful I am for the So Gorgeous Bridal team, from start to finish they have been incredible. I visited So Gorgeous’ new shop in Clevedon yesterday 27th July and all I can say was what an incredible experience. This was my first ever time shopping for a wedding dress and felt a little overwhelmed but Anna, Devvon and the team put myself at ease as soon as me and mum walked in the shop.
The shop is absolutely stunning, the wide range of dresses, designers and every detail has been thought about. You get 2 hours of pure expertise. You don’t at all feel rushed or pushed into buying anything. I tried on 9 dresses in total and retrying the couple that I fell in love with. I found my dream dress and one that I would have never chose for myself! Devvon and Anna are honestly the dream team and they truly understand and see your vision and in my case, in a dress I would never have put myself in but I LOVE it! I didn’t think I would find the dress so quickly and I even shed a few tears.
I can very proudly say I was the first yes to the dress in the new shop and I can’t wait to see all the new brides say yes to theirs!
I cannot recommend this shop enough!

I cannot wait to go back to I collect my dress and catch up with the team next year!
