So you've decided on your ideal hair and make up look. Now, make a list of the hairstylists and make up artists in your local area (or close to your venue), and look through their website for photos of their work. If they seem to specialize in looks that are close to what you want, arrange a consultation. This will allow you to chat about pricing and find out if you're comfortable with them. They're going to be with you on the morning of your wedding, so you want someone who will soothe your nerves and make you feel confident. If the consultation goes well, you can organize a hair or make up trial before your wedding, which will give you a preview of the final look.

Prepare For The Big Day

Schedule your wedding hair and make up at least two hours before you need to be ready to put on your dress. Wear something you can easily remove without messing up your stylist's hard work, like a robe. Ask your hairstylist if they want your hair freshly-washed or day-old. Most importantly, relax, take photos with friends, sip champagne if you want, and enjoy it!
