From the first time I met Helena I was put at ease I had my trial and was very impressed with her professional approach and also her way of putting me at ease.
On the morning of my wedding Helena did my makeup just how we discussed at the trial it was lovely and natural and I was extremely happy with how it lasted for the whole day.

Helena was so just so lovely and it so grateful to have her on my big day. We had a trial a few months to the lead up and she was so flexible with making this work. Helena was was so good at listening to what I wanted which was a natural, pinky glow look and was fab at make slight tweaks and alterations to what I wanted whenever I wanted.

From start to finish Helena was amazing. I booked a trial with her for myself and she was very warm and welcoming and took the time to explain what she was doing and why because I’m not usually one to wear makeup so wanted to understand and learn a little at the same time. Then, on the morning of the wedding she was bubbly and felt part of the bridal party. She was very professional but also got involved in our laughter and excitement. All the bridesmaids and myself loved our makeup and she did a brilliant job and making me look amazing but still like me which is exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend!

Firstly let me say that Helena is a lovely lady and did her best. I wasn't pleased with my makeup on the day and she went back trying to fix the bits I didn't like. But it wasn't working for me and if I wasn'talready late for the ceremony I would have removed the makeup and did it myself from start. The makeup aged me, didn't bring out my good features and accentuated the bad ones. I am quite critical, so maybe for someone not fussed about makeup this could work. But my expectations for that price and a professional service were high, and unfortunately weren't met. I wouldn't want to say my day was ruined, but I was definitely unhappy and my wedding photos reflect this (especially the "getting ready"). I didn't feel beautiful and looking at the photos from the day upsets me.

Both Ladies were great, relaxed and made the environment relaxing. Sadly the hairdresser wasn’t informed of what I wanted and even after showing an image it wasn’t anything like what I had my heart set on, I didn’t have the heart to tell her I didn’t like it.

Makeup was ok, but it didn’t last. Annoyingly it was under my nails after trying to move hair out of my face, this ended up down the sides of my dress and covered the straps where it was put on my neck.
An hour after the ceremony I had to remove the make up as my Maid of Honour informed me it had become blotchy and running off my face.

Sadly as much as I loved our day and everyone thought I looked amazing when I look back at the photos I just wish I had done it myself after spending all that money on curls that dropped out and make up that made me look old and a melting wax work.

Helena was both relaxed and wonderfully professional.
After beautifully applying make up to me, my bridesmaids and my mum, she help my mum dress me.
Whilst getting me dressed, she quietly brought my mums attention to a small hole in the seams of my dress, which without letting me know and she perfectly sewed up. Leaving me relaxed and unaware of the potential drama.
I am so grateful that she allowed me to remain relaxed and calm on the morning of the wedding.

I don't even know where to begin with how wonderful Helena is. From first contact she was so friendly and kind. Her enthusiasm and passion for what she does and wanting to make people's vision a reality is such a beautiful thing. She really cares and listens and is so talented. She maintained regular contact leading up to the big day and helped fuel the excitement. On my wedding morning she made the wedding party feel so relaxed, especially myself, she joined in with my mum, daughters and maid of honour singing and dancing, it actually felt like she was part of the wedding party. We experienced a few hiccups (not relating to her) on the morning when getting ready and Helena stepped in and helped us all get ready from fixing hair to adjusting dresses and helping get shoes on. This amazing lady stepped in at the last minute when my make up artist let me down at the last minute. She was already booked for my wedding day but she still offered to help and engaged with another make up artist to make my day wedding day happen. She was so flexible and took all the needs of my bridesmaids into consideration. I cannot fault one thing. Thank you my lovely for making my day happen

Helena was absolutely amazing! Im not someone who wears makeup normally and i was really out of my comfort zone, but she made me feel at ease! I didnt have to worry about a thing!

Helena did my wedding make up on 1st April 2023.
I dont wear alot of make up, normally just mascara and lip balm or lip gloss and blusher for work. So when i went for my wedding make up trial this was discussed. I wanted to look beautiful on my day, but also still wanted to look like me! So wanted a natural look. I also suffer with psoriosis and this was discussed when deciding on products etc. Myself, maid of honor, my eldest daughter and my mum all had make up trials, and came away over the moon ! Helena was so friendly, chatty and on my wavelength. Communication was fantastic! On the day of my wedding i really felt at ease, i felt amazing!! I would recommend Helena without hesitation!
