Amy is a mobile makeup artist, meaning she can travel to her client's home or chosen venue on their wedding morning for a stress-free and convenient experience. She believes that when it comes to wedding makeup, nothing is more important than ensuring her clients feel confident and stunning as they stroll down the aisle and are 100 percent satisfied with their glam transformation. She offers trial sessions in her Thornaby-based home studio to allow clients to experiment with different styles and find the perfect one for them before their special day arrives. Madeleine Makeup Studio can cater to solo bookings, large groups, and wedding parties. Amy is always willing to customise her packages to fit an event's unique requirements; providing a bespoke service is her speciality.

What is included in the wedding package?

I provide a bespoke look to suit you, and a trial is included to ensure we have a clear vision for the makeup. This is your opportunity to make any tweaks so we can get it perfect for your big day

How far in advance should I contact you?

I take bookings 12 - 18 month in advance, and tend to be fully booked for popular dates around the end of the year for the following year

Do you work at homes?

Yes

What is the charge for travelling?

This depends on your location / ceremony time and party size

What is your main business area?

Make up

Could you stay with the bride until the photo shoot?

Yes

How many people can you beautify for one wedding?

This depends on the ceremony time but can happily complete upto 8 people in the day. Larger parties or early starts would require as assistant

Can you provide your beauty services for pre-wedding and post-wedding photography?

Yes

What are the forms of payment?

Amy is Wonderful!

Amy was absolutely brilliant to work with and made up some of my bridesmaids & Sister in Law for my wedding. Amy was great to chat with and delivered gorgeous (and versatile!) looks on the day with plenty of time before photos and the ceremony!! I strongly recommend booking with Amy as she was fabulous x

Fantastic and effortless, was such a chilled morning I nearly forgot It was my wedding day

Amy was amazing she didn't half explain and break things down for me as I had never used a make up artist in my life and I let her have most of the creative control and she didn't disappoint loved the look she gave me as she made me feel amazingly beautiful thank you Amy xSx

Made me feel so beautiful on my prom day! Explaining every step to me so I understood what was going on, I couldn’t recommend enough!!

I had the best experience getting my makeup done, I suffer with acne now and again and have never had my makeup sit so beautiful and glowy! It lasted all day and I’ve never had so many compliments on my makeup. I couldn’t recommend enough.

Wedding makeup

I hired Amy to do my wedding makeup, and she was amazing throughout the whole process. I’ve never had my makeup done before so wasn’t sure what to expect, but during the trial Amy made me feel totally at ease and listened to everything I said I wanted, and created a look for me that I loved. On the morning of the wedding Amy came to the wedding venue and did my makeup, as well as some of the bridesmaids makeup. She made the morning nice and relaxed, and she’s absolutely lovely to be around! I got loads of compliments about the makeup on the wedding day, and the bridesmaids also loved their makeup looks. Would highly recommend Amy, she’s lovely to work with, really professional and makes sure you get the makeup look you wanted. Thanks Amy!

Fantastic service!

Amy did my makeup when I was a bridesmaid, and as a makeup artist myself I was a little bit apprehensive as I can be quite fussy! But I needn’t have worried, Amy was so professional, listened to exactly what I asked for and delivered a look that I absolutely loved. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to everyone!

I knew the moment I met Amy that she is going to be the best MUA. She made me feel at ease starting from trial up to the day of my big event. She went beyond my expectations and has managed to bring out my features without looking overbearing. I was so pleased to be the most beautiful bride on the day of my wedding.
