The trial was so helpful to make sure everything suited my skin tone, photographed beautifully, and lasted well on the day. Maayan listened carefully to my feedback and made small adjustments so it felt perfectly “me.”
On the wedding day she not only made me feel like the best version of myself, but she also did stunning makeup for my mum and sister who had both travelled a long way to be there. We all felt amazing, and the photos show how beautifully everything came together.

Maayan worked with me to find inspiration pictures and show what looks would look like on real skin, not with filters. After the trial and on the wedding day the makeup looked exactly as I wanted it, if not better! She also gave me a touch up kit for the day of the wedding to keep the makeup looking fresh but it was so good I didn't even need it. Fantastic from start to finnish. Hiring Maayan was one of the best decisions I made for our wedding day!

I'm not someone who often wears much makeup but I suffer from breakouts and was really worried about having spots on the wedding day. I knew I needed professional makeup but wanted to be sure I'd look natural and still very much recognisable as me, just an elevated version.

I originally saw some of Maayan's work on Instagram and found it so useful to see the before and after examples of women with breakouts and redness! I immediately reached out and we set up a call - she was so helpful answering all my many many questions and really put me at ease so I went ahead and booked in with her, including a trial.

At the trial Maayan was so lovely - my sister came along too and it was such a fun couple of hours! I'd shared in advance the kind of style I liked and Maayan tried out two different versions of makeup and hair for me to pick from, adapting them as we went based on my feedback. I also asked for her advice on veil/hair pieces and she was so helpful!

On the day itself Maayan was such a calming presence! She's so skilled and worked expertly despite being in a very busy room with all my family & wedding party around us. She made little tweaks I asked for and waited to do the final touches once I'd put on my wedding dress and ended up waiting a long time as there was a malfunction with the dress, but Maayan was so kind and patient. Also, my mum had been out to the local hairdressers in the morning to have her hair done but in the busyness of the morning it had gone slightly flat - Maayan was so so lovely and fixed my mum's hair for her!

My skin had slightly broken out for the day and I had redness left from previous spots but Maayan covered these in a beautifully subtle way. She then gave me a touch up kit and some helpful tips on how to use it throughout the day which was so useful! The makeup and hair lasted really well from morning all the way into the early hours of the next day, despite being on the London underground, walking around the City and lots of dancing!

Because of Maayan I felt super confident in my skin and it really helped make the day perfect! I would 100% recommend hiring her for your wedding - especially if you're like me and have breakouts or aren't someone who often uses makeup and wants to look natural but elevated!

I had the pleasure of having Maayan do my make-up for my wedding in April. From the get-go, she was extremely personable, agreeing to jump on a call to discuss what I was looking for and put me at ease instantly. She completely "got" the look I was trying to achieve, and I found it very helpful that her website outlines her prices very clearly (when you plan a wedding, you realise a lot of suppliers don't do this and it leaves you wondering what quotes are based on).

I really enjoyed my make-up trial, at Maayan's new shared working space which is very conveniently located in central London and super bright and comfortable. Maayan took a lot of time to talk me through different look, try and re-try different things until I was super happy. She made any blemishes or other imperfections on my skin which I was insecure about just go away and made my skin look absolutely radiant and perfect. She did not spare any expenses, and I was impressed that she was happy to try out varies lashes with me until we found the perfect fit.

All the way through to the wedding day, Maayan was super responsive and flexible - even when I decided to add make-up for some of the bridal party rather last minute and the timetable kept changing as a result. Maayan was always just a Whatsapp message away and I even shared pictures of my dress with her ahead of the day as she became like a friend in the run-up to the big day!

On the day itself, Maayan arrived early and was so calm and lovely and really made the whole experience of getting ready just a very relaxing and fun one - both me and my bridal party thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved my look on the day and felt absolutely beautiful, and received so many compliments from my guests. I can be quite critical and am not usually a fan of my own photos so for me to honestly LOVE my look (so much so that I keep going back to my photos!) is really, really special. My bridal party were similarly happy with their looks and we all really enjoyed the morning with Maayan, who also got on really well with my hairdresser and photographer which meant everything just went seamlessly. The "morning of"/getting ready part was truly one of my favourite parts of the day!

Maayan was als extremely patient with the photographers taking over her space several times to do background shots. She also made sure I took time to have some breakfast before completing my lip make-up, which turned out to be a true life safer as my breakfast pastry was the only food I had until about 10pm that day so was absolutely essential!

I also want to mention specifically that Maayan very kindly provided a lovely little bag containing a full-sized lip gloss, blotting paper, a make-up sponge and cotton buds to make sure I had everything I needed to touch up my make-up throughout the day. Especially the lip gloss came in super handy and I love wearing it now, after the wedding, as it reminds me of the wedding day. I know other MUA don't provide lip products (whether full-sized or testers) to keep you covered throughout the day and I think it's absolutely crucial that you have this as your lip colour will wear off countless times as you do your photo shoot, drink champagne, receive many many kisses, eat, etc., and you can really do without the stress of scrambling around/sending someone to the drug store to try and find a matching shade on your wedding day!

I highly recommend Maayan to anyone who wants to feel in the safest hands and feel absolutely beautiful. Her make-up is superb and she is all around a lovely person and will put you at ease - getting ready for your wedding does not need to be a stressful experience!

Maayan did an absolutely wonderful job on my special day. She really stuck to the brief in terms of all the images and ideas I had, whilst also giving great suggestions for potential improvements. I was looking for a more natural feel to my makeup and Maayan really delivered on that. I was over the moon with how both my makeup and hair turned out.

Maayan did my makeup for a professional event and it was just 10/10. Not only did she make me feel extremely comfortable but she also did an amazing job with my hair and makeup. She did exactly what I asked for and I left with my head head held high feeling a million dollars.

Maayan used to live on the same street as me, so she's actually done my makeup multiple times. I completely trust her to give me the natural, minimal look that I like (but she can do more dramatic looks as well, as she has done this for me in the past). I know whatever she does, I will look great by the time she is done. I love her style of bringing out natural features and emphasizing the beauty that is already there (I see photos on her Instagram of other brides)--rather than making people look like they just have a ton of makeup on. Additionally, she is so easy to be around. She is friendly and warm without being over-the-top bubbly and fake. She creates a very relaxed atmosphere. Also, I struggle with acne and oily skin and she never ever makes me feel bad about it (as other makeup artists have in the past!). She is also super professional!! I needed her to come to my house super early and she was there at 7:15 AM on the dot! I was so impressed. All of her products and brushes are clean and well kept. And she also always has great product recommendations (both for skincare and makeup). It's honestly so fun having Maayan do my makeup and I am always super pleased with the results. I highly, highly recommend her as a makeup artist!!

She has only done my hair the one time, but it came out fantastic AND it looked good the entire day. So I was super pleased.
