Gemma was amazing. Chatty and friendly which put me at ease, so professional and knowledgeable. She helped me decipher what I wanted and read between the lines of my jumbled ideas and preferences as I wasn't really sure what to have done.

Gemma is highlighly professional, creative and easy to work with. Arranged hair and makeup for myself and bridesmaids - at a late date my hair was also booked and this was not a problem. Gemma is great to deal with, excellent communication and so easy to work with. I was very happy with all makeup and hair & she is a very calming presence on a day when nerves are common! Gemma is a really talented hair and make up artist. She made my bridesmaids and I feel fantastic and got everything just right. She arrived early on the wedding day and worked to a tight schedule without complaint or breaks. She was also very quick to respond to messages and flexible in terms of the place and date of the trial. Would recommend!

Booking & Trial:
Gemma was really quick to respond to me and answer questions that I had. Really quickly we booked a trial. I choose to come to Gemma for a trial, on my way I got hungry (I was 8 weeks pregnant) and Gemma offered to make some food for me, but I decided to order take away. She started with make up but then switched to hair when food arrived so that I can eat without worrying. I was very happy with my trial hair & make up, but we ended up doing everything completely different on the day.
1st wedding:
We were sure that we won’t be able to get officially married on our wedding day due to Brexit and mix up with our “notice to marry” so we planned to have a very relaxed day. Gemma was supposed to do hair &make up for myself, my mother and my sister in law as well as just hair for me best friend. There was no other stylist booked, so Gemma was supposed to come to us and start around 8 (if I remember correctly) and finish around 1. On the day of the wedding we found out that our notice was approved and we can get married officially! Which meant complete change of plans! This meant that Gemma only had 1 hour to do my hair and make up, and she was very successful! Of course that meant that she had to do something completely different to what we did on trial. She was also happy to stay at home and wait for us to come back from the ceremony so that she can touch me up and finish everyone else’s hair and make up.
2nd wedding:
Our second wedding was a Hindu wedding, Gemma freestyled and I was really happy with the result!
