Highly recommend Lara for your wedding make up needs. From the beginning Lara was quick to respond and arrange an initial trial. I am a person who wears very minimal make up day to day and my main priority was to look as natural as I could but feel amazing. Lara listened to me but also guided me with types of make up I needed. She was also very accommodating to other members of the bridal party. On the day Lara was part of the joy and made sure I looked great and was happy with everything before leaving. She arrived on time and embraced the chaos in the house. Lara also prepared a little top up kit for my bag with some lipstick and buds to keep my make up in place all day. Absolutely fabulous from start to finish. Lara is professional, friendly, listened to what I wanted and advised me when I needed it. She used quality brands and gave me a little pot of the lipstick I wore on my wedding day so I could reapply throughout the day. She really made my day special and spent time on mine and my bridal party’s makeup to ensure everything was spot on. I can’t possibly recommend her enough!

From the very beginning Lara James was quick at responding and upon meeting her she was so lovely and professional and put me and my Mum at ease straight away, my Mum doesnt usually like to get her makeup done, but was so pleased with her. I contacted two make up artists for my wedding - both who failed to get back to me. I contacted Lara and honestly, I wish I’d contacted her in the first place. Rather than texting and emailing, Lara was more than happy to have our initial first chat via telephone and called straight away, answering my questions and putting my mind at rest.

At my make up trial, I had no idea of what I wanted but I didn’t want to be caked with heavy make up and not look like ‘me’’. After discussing my wedding colours, my dress, what make up I wear, Lara worked her magic and came up with a beautiful, flawless, polished and enhanced version of me - I just wish I could recreate it. She listens to what you want and only does what she believes suits you - she’s an expert in what she does and is happy to change anything you don’t want or feel is right so you feel happy.

In the months before the wedding, anytime I contacted Lara, she replied so quickly - she understands that as a bride, there are so many worries we have with all the wedding prep and contacting vendors we don’t need the added stress.

On the day of my wedding, she arrived at the venue before me, which put my mind at rest. Not only did Lara make me look a million dollars - she made my mum look stunning and far younger than her 75 years.
