Hi, I'm Melissa-Melody, an award-winning bridal hair specialist with over 20 years of experience creating elegant, bespoke hairstyles for brides across Surrey and beyond.
Every hairstyle is designed around you, your dress, hair type, face shape and personal style to create a timeless look that lasts from your morning preparations to your last dance. Whether you dream of soft romantic waves, a classic updo or modern Hollywood glamour, I'll work with you to create a style you'll love.
I provide a calm, friendly and professional mobile service for brides, bridesmaids, mothers of the bride and groom, and the entire bridal party. On your wedding morning, I stay until you're dressed, your veil and accessories are perfectly in place, and your photographs have been taken, ensuring you feel relaxed and confident before you walk down the aisle.
Since founding Hair By Melissa-Melody in 2001, I've also had the privilege of working in television, film and fashion, including productions such as Harry Potter, Dancing on Ice, commercials and editorial work with MAC Cosmetics. My specialist training at Pinewood & Shepperton Studios and The London Hair & Makeup Academy has given me the skills to create beautiful, long-lasting hairstyles for every hair type and occasion.
Bridal trials are available before your wedding, allowing us to perfect your chosen look together. I'll create a personalised styling schedule for your wedding morning, so everything runs smoothly and you can simply relax and enjoy every moment.
I regularly work at many of Surrey's most beautiful wedding venues, including Botleys Mansion, Pennyhill Park, Wotton House, De Vere Horsley Towers, Oatlands Park Hotel, Coltsford Mill and many more.
