How far in advance should I contact you?

Taking bookings approximately a year in advance yet will also try and accommodate last minute bookings. Happy to give quotes and advice for any wedding date

Do you work at homes?

What is the charge for travelling?

Depends on the mileage and the time it takes to travel

Could you stay with the bride until the photo shoot?

Yes

How many people can you beautify for one wedding?

It really depends on many aspects. The time of the wedding and the styles required. I will let you know on booking what’s possible for your day

Amazing trial

Hi Mandy

Thank you for the hair and makeup trial, you did an amazing job. I went up to see my Dad at the hospital after and he said “you look beautiful”- he’s not a man of many words so this means a lot! ?? My friend also is very straight talking and not particularly emotional so for you to make her cry means you obviously got it right ??

It all feels a bit more real now and I feel more confident about the day. I’m really not great with being centre of attention (hence only wanting a small wedding) but knowing what you’re going to do makes me feel more excited.

So pleased

Mandy was quite simply amazing! She arrived at 6am on a chilly October morning after travelling for an hour. She got straight to work transforming my lovely daughter into a very beautiful bride. Jess was so happy with the beautiful hair do and makeup, Mandy had listened to all that she had asked for. She also did hair and makeup for Jess’ bridesmaid and myself. We were also super pleased with our transformations. We all felt a million dollars thanks to Mandy. She is exceptionally good at her job. You will be in safe hands with Mandy.

Fabulous from start to finish!

Mandy is phenomenal! Not really knowing anything about hair and make-up just knowing I wanted “natural” she made me look amazing! As a bride, naturally I was worried about time on my wedding morning, but Mandy worked tirelessly for many hours to ensure me and my 7 (!!) bridesmaids looked amazing! I couldn’t have been happier. Mandy is a pleasure to deal with and I couldn’t recommend her more!

I can not recommend Mandy highly enough!

I can not recommend Mandy highly enough. I’m a bit particular about people being in my personal space so, having hair and make up done can be very daunting for me. Not with Mandy, she made me feel so relaxed, I felt safe immediately - she became an asset to my wedding day. She listened to what I like and don’t like, she used her wealth of knowledge and experience to give advise and create a stunning look. I not only used her for my wedding but for an evening out- her work was equally outstanding. I can’t wait for the next night out just so she can work her magic again! Thanks Mandy, you are a star! X

Absolutely fantastic

Mandy was absolutely fantastic on our wedding day, doing the hair and make up for 5 wedding party members. She was well organised and a much needed calming influence! Everyone looked beautiful and the makeovers lasted all evening! We wont hesitate to book Mandy again for other family events in the future. Thank you Mandy!

I can't thank Mandy enough

I cannot fault any of the services that Mandy provided me with for my wedding she was absolutely fabulous! She was professional at all times and always made sure that I was happy with my hair and make up during my trial before the final decision was made on what I was going to have. On the day of the wedding she arrived well before she was supposed too and was chatting to everyone and joining in the conversation. My mum absolutely loved her hair and said that it made her feel very pretty and lady like as my mum is quite a Tom boy! My hair and make up on the day largest from 1pm until 1am and would have lasted longer if I didn't need to go to sleep! I cannot reccomened Big day hair and make-up enough! Thank you Mandy for everything I loved everything! Everyone was commenting on how lovely my hair and make up was and how natural and not cake like it looked! I cannot say thank you enough Mandy

Highly recommended

An excellent job on our wedding this weekend. Mandy was flexible, full of advice and couldn’t have done more on the big day! I highly recommend her services, the photographs she took afterwards were an added bonus.
Everyone looked perfect and the make up lasted all night!

Mandy did my Mum's wedding, then mine!

Mandy is a fantastic hair and make up professional. Mandy did did my mum's second wedding 10 years ago and then did a fantastic job with my hair and make up as well as my bridesmaid’s and my mum’s for my wedding day. Returning Customer

Mandy first did a fabulous job of the hair and makeup for me and my bridesmaids in 2011. Yesterday she returned to do the hair and makeup for me, my daughter and granddaughters, at the wedding of one of my bridesmaid. When the brides make up artist failed to show, she calmly and professionally took over her make up as well, doing a brilliant job on us all. Would highly recommend .

Mandy saved the day!

Mandy was an absolute god send on my wedding day when my own make up artist failed to turn up. She stepped in and saved the day squeezing me (the bride) in when already doing my Step Mother, Bridesmaid & 2 flowers girls make up. Mandy was so professional and a calming influence and highly recommended for every big occasion.

Highly recommended

Mandy arrived at 5.30am to do hair and make up for the bride (Kelly) 4bridesmaids and myself-mother of the bride. Kelly wanted make up to be very natural and hair curled for herself and the bridesmaids. Mandy looked at their hair and made suggestions - all of which were agreed with. As I was wearing a hat I just thought I would have my hair straightened - again Mandy made suggestions and I let her do what she thought. I have never had as many good comments about how good my hair looked. We all thought Mandy was very professional and were very pleased with the end results. All our hair and make up lasted all evening as well which was a bonus. I have no hesitation in recommending Mandy for hair and make up.
