Made to Perfection are based out of Fleet, Hampshire in south-east England and specializes in wedding-day hair and makeup. Lead hair and makeup artist Melissa Kassinen is dedicated to creating looks that help her clients to look and feel beautiful. She graduated with an HND in Specialist Makeup from West Thames, gaining experience in the wedding hair and makeup field. Melissa is determined to create unforgettable looks for her customers.

Services Offered

An initial consultation with Made to Perfection - Hair and Makeup Artist allows clients the opportunity to trial different looks, finding that one feels right for your special day. Melissa works with a personalized approach, collaborating with clients directly to understand their vision for their finished look. On the day of the wedding, Melissa will travel to your location to provide you and your wedding party with unforgettable hair and makeup looks.

Up to 10miles return travel is included (from GU51), after which it is 45p per mile

Could you stay with the bride until the photo shoot?

How many people can you beautify for one wedding?

I have done up to 8 people for both hair and makeup (but of course this does require an early start!)

Can you provide your beauty services for pre-wedding and post-wedding photography?

Yes

My wedding - Farnham Castle - 01.08.26

Melissa, Holly and Katie were amazing. They had a large wedding party to make wedding-ready, but they put everyone at ease.

Their make-up and hair skills were second to none, along with their patience!

The bridal party absolutely loved being pampered and all felt a million dollars!

Especially the flower girls who looked so pretty and were so excited!

I can’t recommend Made to Perfection enough, and will certainly be returning for special events in the future.

Nothing was too much trouble, they were prompt on arrival and good value for money.

Thank you Made to Perfection for making our day so perfect.

Wedding day

Melissa did a fantastic job on our wedding day. Our hair and makeup looked amazing, and she made us all feel relaxed, comfortable and completely looked after throughout the morning. We were all so happy with our final looks,

Melissa also went above and beyond when things got a little frantic towards the end and we were all trying to get ready and out on time. She helped wherever she could and made what could have been a stressful morning feel much easier.

The groom was very happy with the results too!

Very Happy

Melissa took on board all of our preferences and was amazing at copying reference pictures down to the exact detail. She got us all done in plenty of time without it ever feeling rushed and our hair stayed well in place despite lots of dancing! She was also able to help with the veil and buttonholes.

Absolutely Perfect for My Event

Melissa did my hair and makeup for an event last week, and she absolutely nailed it. I never quite know what I want, but she took one look at my outfit, made a few suggestions, and created the perfect look. I can’t recommend her highly enough. Thank you again, Melissa!

Wedding Day Magic!

Melissa did such an amazing job for my make up on my wedding day! She was so great and understanding when it came to booking my make-up trail and was so great to talk to throughout the morning of my wedding. Her friendliness and humour while she was doing mine, my maid of honour, and both mothers of the bride and groom's make up, that it make what would have been a stressful morning an memorable experience. Would highly recommend her for any event!

Beautiful Hair & Makeup for the Bridal Party

Melissa did the hair and makeup for the mothers of the bride and groom as well as 2 of my bridesmaid, and everyone looked absolutely beautiful. She made sure to ask beforehand what each of them wanted, and she really delivered. The looks suited each person perfectly and lasted all day. She was punctual, organised, and kept everything running smoothly, with great communication throughout. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!”

You won't find better!!

I've been lucky enough to have Melissa do my make up a few times and she is absolutely exceptional. So warm, friendly, and professional, and her work is top class. She even managed to blend in an unfortunate sunburn!!

Excellent hair and makeup!

I chose Melissa for her competitive rates and excellent reviews and she did not disappoint. With 5 bridesmaids, it was a challenging task but she took it all in her stride and could not have been more accommodating and helpful. My bridal party loved their hair and makeup and it lasted all day. I had many compliments and would definitely

Fabulous service!

I was a nervous mature bride & Melissa was so kind and helpful. I had a trial with her to work out how I wanted to look on my wedding day - which really helped.
She turned up at the hotel in the morning of the wedding & did make up for my 2 bridesmaids, then me. She was very friendly & efficient. She made me look naturally glamorous & I've never felt more beautiful. Would definitely recommend Melissa for any future bride. Thank you Melissa. ❤️

Great for any special occasion!
