Absolutely Perfect
I don't really know where to start when saying how perfect our day was!! Right from our very first meeting with Leanne, we knew we were making the right choice!(we had looked at venues all over the area at all different price ranges) She is honest, there is no dressed up sales talk, she and the rest of the staff will bend over backwards to help you, nothing is too much to ask and most importantly they take a genuine interest. The grounds are stunning, and even though you are next to a Main road it still feels like you are out in the country!! My favourite part if the hotel is the old oak staircase in the old wing, and the floor to ceiling mirror, my photos are stunning of this!! We had a lot of family staying over and every single guest told us how beautiful there rooms were, breakfast is fab, something for everyone!! The food for our wedding breakfast was delicious billy the chef was easy to talk to and so accommodating on the few little tweaks we wanted to make. Overall I would say if you want a wedding day that is absolutely perfect from start to finish, has the feel of a big stately home, but at a much more reasonable price then look no further, Leanne and her team will make sure you have the perfect day to remember for the rest of your lives!

Fantastic venue and great value
Had our wedding here 24/11/12. From the start, the staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. We had a brilliant day/night, the food was greatly appreciated(hot and tasty) and the whole day was run like clockwork. Our wedding day exceeded all our expectations, and it was all down to the staff and management. As a Yorkshire man the price was smashing too, which made me a happy chap. Can't recommend this place enough for your wedding, plenty of rooms available at special rates, and all that stayed rated the rooms and breakfast highly.

one magic day!
my sister got married here in July 14th 2011, it was a perfect day the staff was lovley through out the day and night! the food was really nice to. I'm saving to have my own wedding here in 2013. i can't wait. my whole family loved the place and friends and can't wait to go back.

Good location complemented by an outstanding team.
Very good venue complemented by an outstanding team. The wedding coordinator demonstrated a depth of experience and knowledge and did not disappoint at any point during the organization and delivery of the day. The team that delivered the actual day were professional and friendly and went out of their way to ensure that the day ran smoothly. The food was of a very good standard and the overall cost was very competitive (we only looked within the York area). Overall I would and have recommended the location to any of my friends and family and would be very pleased to be invited as a guest to any function delivered at Fairfield Manor, York.
