Jon was initially booked by my now mother-in-law. We had a call with him a couple of weeks before the wedding to discuss timings and arrangements- this was extremely hassle-free and Jon answered all our questions and anything we were unclear about. He was extremely professional and worked with the photographer that we booked separately very well. I was unsure how it would feel having a videographer (and photographer) but we didn't even notice them being there on the day- Jon blended into the background, capturing everything without us even noticing! Even to the point that when we watched the video, I hadn't even realised that Jon had captured an amazing birdseye view shot with a drone!
Following the day, Jon kept in touch- asking us for a few of our favourite songs so that he could add these to the video. The USB with the video on is presented so lovely, in a personalised engraved wooden box! And then there's the full video and the highlights! They are amazing and it is so incredible to be able to relive the day again and see all the bits that we didn't see on the day- people smiling/laughing/ dancing and having fun! The editing is exceptional, the songs used fit a treat and the voice over from the speeches on the shots are so emotional (I have cried-happy tears- everytime I watch it.) Jon captured so many amazing memories! I would highly recommend anyone getting married to get a videographer and I would highly recommend Jon and his superb skills!

We can’t thank Jon enough for our wedding video. He captured the most amazing moments and we are so pleased with the final product. Jon was very personable, professional and extremely flexible (having rearranged our wedding 3 times during covid). I can’t recommend him enough. We used Jon for our wedding on 2nd June 2022. I was particularly fussy. There were loads of loves and hates I had seen from other companies. I liked Jon’s work and was confident I would be happy with the end product. Still, I wanted to make sure early on that he was open to ideas and could help me achieve my mental model. Jon was great and really understanding of what we wanted. On the day I didn’t even notice Jon was there. He arrived early and introduced himself to both of us then set to work. He fitted in effortlessly into the background. I didn’t notice him once after we had got ready. We went with the full package so we had all day coverage from getting ready right through to the first dance. Jon also produced a one minute Instagram teaser. He delivered an incredible film, that we have watched back numerous times. The USB wouldn’t work on my Mum’s TV, so Jon sent out a disc to her address so she could watch at home. About 6 months after the wedding my Grandma fell ill. I got in touch with Jon and asked if he had any footage of Grandma that hadn’t made the final films. Of course I offered to pay for the extra work. Jon got straight back in touch and not long after sent me a mini film of edits of Grandma, and did not accept the offer of payment. I would highly recommend Jon, and wouldn’t hesitate to use his services again. A really lovely person, and great at what he does. Thank you, Jon.

We couldn't recommend Save the Date Wedding Videography enough! From start to finish, Jon was fantastic. He communicates well and was great when we had to postpone thanks to you-know-what. He arrived promptly on the day and totally blended in. We didn't feel like he was 'in our face' with a camera at all, yet somehow, he managed to capture all of the important aspects of our day. He was so passionate throughout which made the process even more special; not just like it was a job for him. When we received the videos, there were so many happy tears! It was great to relive the day. You can't possibly take it all in, no matter how much you try. We will truly cherish the videos, especially as loved ones will inevitably leave us through the years. Jon even included some extra footage that he had with live audio which was lovely to hear. The songs he chose for the highlight video worked brilliantly and you can tell how skilled Jon is in film making. It may seem like a big expense, but it really isn't when you consider that you can rewatch them and be transported back to the big day whenever you like. Do whatever you can to be able to afford it - you will not regret it.

My wife and I are absolutely delighted with our wedding video from Save the Dog. Jon was brilliant in the run-up, on the day and after the event. No time or effort was spared in getting our videos just the way that we wanted them. Jon's manner is just what you want from a wedding videographer - he caught all of the best moments, all of the shots we wanted and was completely unobtrusive. His style is brilliant - natural, sharp visuals with a great use of high frame-rate slow motions (I love our confetti shot!). I would not hesitate to recommend Save the Dog to anyone.

What can I say apart from WOW!!! We absolutely love the video, such an amazing momento of the day. I spent Sunday watching it over and over again on repeat! The quality of the film, the way it's edited with the music and the moments you've captured are just fantastic and I'm so pleased that we decided to have a wedding video, and even more pleased that we chose Save the Dog productions. Wow, massive thanks to Jon for a lovely wedding video!! I found Jon here on Hitched when the videographer I had booked pulled out a month before the wedding. Needless to say I was nervous about trusting someone that hadn't come recommended first hand, but reading the Save the Dog reviews, we decided to contact Jon. From the first speedy response, he has been nothing but helpful and accommodating, fitting in on the day so well that we hardly noticed he was there. On top of this we received the first cut of the video really quickly, and were able to ask for some amends, all of which he did without complaints. We now have the most wonderful memory of the day, and all at a fraction of the cost of the original company I had booked! We are so pleased that we chose Save the Dog as our wedding videographers. Jon was incredibly helpful in the run up to the day, offering help and advice throughout. After the wedding we couldn’t wait to see the DVD and I must admit I had moments where I wondered what would be on it as I couldn’t remember seeing the cameras on the day. I needn’t have worried. I was a bit concerned that it was going to be a very short video seeing as I barely noticed you all day and thought you couldn’t have got much footage but we were very pleasantly surprised! From arriving at my mum’s house for the bridal prep (and dealing with very nosey neighbours and attention seeking toddlers!) to our first dance and general partying – you got it all J The songs you selected for each part were perfectly matched too, I wasn’t sure if we’d given enough to choose from but you did a great job. What can i say other than wow!!!! We want to say a massive thank you to Save The Dog Productions for our truly amazing wedding video! You captured our day perfectly from start to finish, and i love how you have split the day up into chapters to different songs. Even now when i watch it (and i watch it a lot!) it amazes me how you managed to pick up on all the small details, which makes it even more special!
