Meet the team
👋 Hello and welcome!
I’m Harminder, and together with my wife and family I have the joy of caring for Wellesbourne Hall. I was born in nearby Leamington Spa and am a proud graduate of the University of Warwick. Alongside my role as a Programme Manager for a global insurance firm in central London, my greatest passion has always been historic properties – their character, their heritage, and the stories they hold. When we first saw Wellesbourne Hall, we fell in love at first sight and knew we had found somewhere truly special.
Once upon a time, the Hall sat at the heart of 400 acres of land. Today, the estate holds 8.5 acres of landscaped gardens and peaceful grounds – a beautiful, intimate setting that we are dedicated to preserving. For decades the Hall had been untouched, its last restoration dating back to the 1950s, and so we began a journey to carefully bring it back to life. The cottages have now been lovingly restored, with plans underway to revive the Coach House, The Bothy, and the gardens beyond.
The idea of hosting weddings here grew naturally from our love of the estate. We wanted to share this magical place with couples, offering them not only an unforgettable backdrop for their celebration, but also the chance to be part of its story. Every wedding helps support the ongoing restoration of Wellesbourne Hall, ensuring this beautiful home will continue to thrive for generations to come.
Life at Wellesbourne is full of simple joys. As a family we love walking the many countryside routes that weave through the surrounding villages, and as a keen cyclist I often ride with my son Raj through the rolling Warwickshire hills. Away from the estate, I am also part of a traditional Indian classical music academy and play the Taus, a rare and historic stringed instrument. Our ensemble has been honoured to perform at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, Trafalgar Square, and even 10 Downing Street.
We’re a small, dedicated team, and from your very first enquiry you’ll find us warm, approachable, and always happy to help. It’s our privilege to welcome couples into this historic home and see it come alive with love, laughter, and celebration once more.
✨ For me, there is no greater joy than seeing Wellesbourne Hall become part of your love story.
