Villa Montegranelli is a dreamy hotel wedding venue nestled in Umbria, Italy. This prestigious noble residence dating back to the 18th century is an exclusive and extremely refined location, nestled in the greenery of the splendid Umbrian countryside. It offers rich and flavorful cuisine for a dream wedding.
Facilities and Capacity
The interior of the villa is distinguished by its spacious, refined, and elegant rooms, which preserve antique furnishings and valuable works of art.
The three dining rooms retain the charm of the noble residence within the ancient walls, in a refined setting surrounded by details that evoke the ancient patrician traditions.
Outside, the villa is surrounded by an enchanting park with a long avenue of towering cypress trees, made even more evocative by a tangle of paths bordered by boxwood hedges arranged in a maze-like fashion. During the summer months, these spaces will be set up for a romantic outdoor reception.
In the park stands the old family chapel, a splendid place of worship that still preserves its original oil paintings, exquisite stuccoes, and marble.
Services Offered
You can rely on the villa's staff, who will assist and guide you in organizing your wedding—from the cuisine, which is handled by the villa's restaurant, to finding partners and industry professionals who will take care of every essential element of your unforgettable reception.
Catering
The cuisine offers the best dishes from Umbrian and Italian culinary traditions, skillfully crafted by the chefs. Each course will be paired with top labels from the Umbrian and national wine scene.
Additional Services
The villa offers 21 rooms, including standard rooms, junior suites, and a magnificent suite that preserves frescoes from the 13th–14th century. Each room is equipped with all the best comforts.
Historical Notes
The villa still bears the name of its original owners, the Condi Guidi family of Romena and Montegranelli. The Guidi family held lordship over Casentino and part of Romagna in the 11th century. It is likely that Azzo, son of Antonio dei Conti Guidi, fled Florence towards the end of the 14th century and settled in Gubbio.
