We recently held our wedding reception here and it was absolutely perfect. The staff were fantastic, friendly, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The view of the river is stunning and created such a beautiful backdrop for our special day. The food was brilliant, every dish was delicious, and our guests are still talking about it. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a truly memorable wedding location.

We recently (August 2025) had our wedding reception at the Sail Loft, following our ceremony at Islington Town Hall. From our first enquiry Emma was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble, we even had a few last minute changes on the week of the wedding and she was so accommodating. The venue was perfect, food and drinks (especially the cocktails and evening buffet!) were incredible and everyone commented on how stunning the views were. We were even able to have a sax player during our meal and a band in the evening. The staff on the day were wonderful and this enabled us to relax and enjoy the day fully. Also as Greenwich is so beautiful we were able to get some amazing wedding photos! I would really recommend the Sail Loft. Thanks everyone for making our day so special ❤️

Extremely happy with the choice of venue. Everything the meticulously organized, every request was executed to perfection and every detail was taken care of. The staff was friendly, price was reasonable and, most importantly, all our guests had a fantastic time. We wanted to celebrate our journey together and love for travel, with a travel-themed wedding, and Sail Loft was the perfect spot for this - view from first floor is like being on a deck at sunset. Very close to Greenwich, a good stop over for wedding photos.

We held our small wedding celebration at The Sail Loft in Greenwich, and it turned out exactly how we’d hoped. We booked the Captain’s Cabin, which was perfect for our group of about twenty people, including a few children. There was plenty of space, and the room felt bright and comfortable with lovely river views. One of the best things about that space is how much natural light it gets — it looks fantastic whether it’s sunny or raining, so you never lose that special riverside atmosphere.

The staff were fantastic throughout. From the first emails to the day itself, they were friendly, helpful, and flexible. Nothing felt complicated, and they made sure everything ran smoothly. It was clear they genuinely wanted us to have the day we’d planned.

Another thing we really appreciated was the music setup. The pub has a great selection of background music that perfectly fits the place, but they also let us play our own playlist for the celebration — which was brilliant. Having that flexibility made it feel much more personal and relaxed.

One thing that really stood out was how flexible they were with food. They have a separate wedding menu, but they also let us pick dishes from the regular pub menu, so we could build something that suited everyone. That level of choice is rare, and it made a big difference — the food was generous, well cooked, and everyone was happy.

The atmosphere was relaxed but special, the views were great, and the price was very fair for what we got: a private space, plenty of food, and a team who really cared.

In short, The Sail Loft gave us a warm, easy-going, and memorable day. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate our wedding.

We had an amazing afternoon and evening celebrating getting married at the Sail Loft. We hired out the top floor and Emma sorted everything out! They were super flexible with cake storage, food (including gluten free options), AV equipment and even let us pick up some leftover cake the next morning. Food was great, drinks are London prices but tasty and the venue is super convenient and pretty. It's a 10/10 from us!

From the planning to the actual day, Emma and her team were amazingly helpful and professional throughout. Communication was great and Emma was always available to meet or talk about any questions we had leading up to our big day. The venue itself is perfect for a summer wedding reception with breath taking views of the geeenwich pier. My family loved the little canapes and food supplied by Sail loft and their service on the day was faultless- staff were so friendly and on hand to help through to the night. The bar manager was incredibly helpful and made sure we were always catered for whether it be enough drinks or food. Honestly had such a lovely time here and forever grateful to Emma and her team for making our special day one to remember.

This venue is perfect for a small wedding reception which is exactly what we wanted. The setting is beautiful the food and wine selection is fantastic and all the guests commented on the high quality of both. The private space where we could control the music gave us control over our event enabling us to create the atmosphere we wanted. Communication was excellent and great value for money. Cannot recommend enough!

We had our Wedding at the Sail Loft. We worked with Emma and she was incredible. So helpful, made planning our a joy, and the day itself was perfect. The food, service, the venue - honestly everyone commented on how exceptional it was. Really highly recommend.
