  Nothing short of perfect!

  We couldn’t recommend the Parlour enough! From our very first visit to the day itself the whole experience couldn’t have been a better one.
  
  Staff:
  ALL of the staff are genuinely second to none but especially Naomi helping us plan our special day, Rosanne who was a godsend at helping to set up, Max on the day itself was just outstanding from start to finish and was infectiously happy, Alex the chef was a hero when I accidentally broke the cake, Sean the in house DJ was fantastic and had our dance floor bouncing all night long and Alison worked our whole wedding and was then back again early the following morning to sort our breakfast too. Definitely a team to be proud of!
  
  Food:
  Unbelievable! We had canapés which went down a treat during our reception drinks, the most delicious wedding breakfast (the lamb shank is still all our guests can talk about a fortnight later) and burgers for our evening food too. So reasonably priced and worth every penny!
  
  Venue:
  Absolutely stunning! We fell in love as soon as we saw it. It’s so nice we didn’t actually need to do very much to decorate it at all, just a few little personal touches to make it our own for the day. We were lucky enough to have gorgeous sunshine all day so the outdoor area was perfect and having each part of our day in different rooms made the day really smooth too. We can’t wait to get our photos back soon!
  
  Accommodation:
  The bedrooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The bridal suite was the perfect space with its gigantic bathroom for the bride and maids to get ready for the day too.
  
  Overall, we had the most perfect day! The team were more than happy to accommodate any personal touches we wanted, the day couldn’t have gone smoother, the food was delicious, the staff were outstanding, professional and friendly at all times and the cost was more than reasonable for a weekend wedding in August too. 100% recommend every last bit!

  Amazing Wedding Venue!

  We chose The Parlour at Blagdon initially as it was local to us. When we arrived for our first private viewing we were blown away. The buildings were so pretty, the outdoor space was beautiful, the staff were so friendly, it just felt right. We wanted to be 100% sure the venue was for us so we booked in to view a few others before we committed. Nothing we saw compared to The Parlour and we went back to book it straight away. All of our emails/visits/messages to The Parlour were responded to efficiently and nothing seemed a bother to the staff. They were amazing with us as we were definitely unsure on lots of wedding details at the beginning. The staff never once rushed us for guest numbers/meals/decor/final details, we felt completely at ease.
  
  During the wedding day, the staff were incredibly helpful and calm during a nervous morning. They were efficient, confident, organised and completely held the whole day together. We 100% recommend this venue to our friends and family & just want to relive our special day all over again!

  Beautiful venue and excellent service

  We have just had the wedding of our dreams at this beautiful venue. It has the perfect layout for an intimate and personal wedding. Everything just works perfectly and all the Parlour team are incredibly kind and helpful throughout the process.
  There is a lot of scope for personalisation at this venue to make it exactly as you want. We were blown away by the all the delicious food options available (our guests just loved it). The venue itself is beautiful even before any decor comes in - STUNNING. We were fortunate to have good weather, but even in the rain, The Parlour works perfectly with it's well thought out indoor and outdoor layout.

  Amazing and stunning

  Throughout the entire process, staff at the parlour were friendly & professional. Naomi gave us lots of support at every meeting and was very helpful giving us tips etc. The day itself was spectacular, Max and Paul were very helpful in making sure we were happy and looked after us all day and night. As we knew we would forget to eat our reception dessert, they made sure we had some brought up to our room. The food was beautiful and everybody loved it. The Parlour itself is a beautiful place, and we got really lucky with the weather (maybe a bit too lucky ha!). Just stunning all around and can’t recommend enough! Thank you for everything!

  Wedding venue

  We had our wedding at the parlour at Blagdon this month (August 2024) having booked it in 2022 and it was the most perfect day, the service was immaculate, the staff went above and beyond, they reassured us at every meeting that if we had any questions at any time they would be there to answer. The food was amazing! Every single guest complimented it.

  Where can I begin? This wedding venue and the people who run it at phenomenal. I had a really difficult start to my year when my dad died. It threw my whole planning experience into complete disarray and I just didn’t know how I wanted my day to look anymore. Naomi was the most patient and kind person to communicate with about this and she gave me all of the time and advice that I needed to navigate such a difficult time.
  Naomi made sure that when we were ready, she was able to give us the time we needed to plan our wedding the way we wanted it.
  And wow, what a day. It was the most relaxed, colourful and happy experience. It was everything we needed after such a terrible time, the whole team went above and beyond to make sure the day ran smoothly and our guests were happy and well looked after.
  The venue was immaculate and well ran and all
  of the team were there to see me as I prepared to go down the aisle which I thought was so special!
  If you are considering The Parlour then you will not regret it!

  Lovey Venue for a Small to Medium Sized Wedding

  The Parlour is a lovely wedding venue, we fell in love with the place as soon as we visited for a open day. The events team (mainly Naomi we dealt with) are very good, and know how to plan their weddings. The layout of the place, and it's look and feel were exactly what we wanted. On the day of our wedding a lot of our guests remarked at how fabulous the venue was, and the food was incredible (even better than the tasting night we attended).
  The accommodation is limited in terms of room numbers which is expected for the kind of place it is, but all of the rooms are very nice and well furnished/appointed for guests staying in the evening. The bridal suite bathroom is also great for hair and makeup on the day for the natural light and space.
  Our only negatives from our experience were: The MC we had on the day was impersonal and came across a bit rude to several people including suppliers and guests (the other two MCs we worked with on the evening and the day before when we setup were great), we had to remind the MC on the day of our decoration arrangements which were in the contract and hadn't been followed.

  Absolutely first class venue. Nothing was too much trouble (even realising I’d mislabelled our tables the day before the wedding!) Naomi and the team were quick to respond to emails and were brilliant and professional on the day (especially when our wedding cake wasn’t delivered in time!) would highly recommend for a company you can put your trust in!

  Chilled and laid back !

  Absolutely loved getting married at the parlour ! My contact Naomi was great from the start to finish . The food was 10/10 , the atmosphere was laid back and had the perfect summer garden party vibe . Would recommend anyone to get married here .
