We had such a wonderful time having our wedding at the Old Manse. I reached out to Magda in April and we went to see the facility the next day. Exactly what we wanted - small, historic church with a center aisle, a beautiful home for all of our family to stay, and a perfectly sized marquee for our wedding of 36! Magda and the team were amazing and thought of everything - really helped the day to run seamlessly! Thank you again for the best day!Sent on 07/09/2021

Perfect Wedding Location and Incredible Host
We can't thank Magda enough for helping us organise our wedding with just 10 days notice. The house itself has been beautifully renovated and the setting by Loch Ness is incredible. We held our ceremony in Bona Church which is attached to the Old Manse House and has plenty of space for social distancing. For the reception, Magda organised a gorgeous marquee complete with furnishings, lighting and crockery, along with catering by the talented Bruce which was absolutely fantastic. The marquee was set up beside the house and it had stunning views of the Loch. Our wedding took place under Covid restrictions and we comfortably fitted our guests in the marquee. Magda co-ordinated with our florist, Fauna Flower Folk and the day went seamlessly, Magda was on hand all day making sure we had everything we needed. We had our wedding photographs taken by Catriona Elizabeth at the house and at Lochend Shore which is a short walk from the house and has the beautiful back drop of Loch Ness. We couldn't have asked for a better day and we can't recommend Highland-Escape enough, The Old Manse House & Bona Church are just perfect for a wedding, you have everything you need in one place.Sent on 21/05/2021
Having our wedding at The Old Manse was incredible. The venue was absolutely 5*, down to the smallest of details, and the director, Magda, went above and beyond to help us achieve the intimate wedding of our dreams.
We stayed in the Old Manse and had our ceremony at Bona Church (attached), then had the small reception in a marquee on the grounds. Magda and the team of caterers provided outstanding services that we cannot fault in any way! The day ran seamlessly and was stress-free. As a side note, the venue is so close to Loch Ness with stunning views from most of the rooms. There is a narrow, yet sometimes busy road (that did not bother us at all) that runs by it, and just over this road and down a small track is access to the shores of Loch Ness, where our photographer was able to take some stunning pictures. The location was top-notch!
We actually booked the Old Manse purely from online pictures and email correspondence with Magda, so for some this may seem like a leap of faith in the venue… we are so glad we took that leap! It was everything we imagined and more.
Magda also recommended the caterers we used, as well as information for florists etc. in the local area. She was on hand, via email and then later in person, at any time and was extremely helpful.
We cannot wait to return for a holiday year after year in the amazing setting.Sent on 05/08/2021
