The chapel is a fantastic venue for an intimate wedding. It's incredibly beautiful but not overwhelming in its size. We can only offer smaller weddings in fact! Our maximum capacity is 60 for a seated ceremony.

We’re a secular space so only offer non-religious ceremonies.

We usually suggest hiring the chapel for three hours. This breaks down as:

1. One hour to prepare the chapel (your florist or musicians arriving)

2. Half an hour for your interviews with the registrars and your guests to arrive

3. Half an hour for your ceremony

4. One hour for drinks and photos

Provided you don't need longer for decorations or drinks, we find that this time usually works very well. However, do talk to us if you'd like something slightly different.

As a price guide, we'd charge £1995 for a weekend (Friday to Sunday), three-hour hire of the chapel in 2024. We don’t usually offer weddings on other days of the week

What is included in the hire charge?

You are welcome to bring your own drinks (or we can supply them). We don't charge corkage. Glassware, chairs and someone to serve drinks are all included in the price. Also included are the 'banns' poster (a legal requirement) and hiring our beautiful LED taper candles.

We'd ask you to book the registrar separately. This is a separate fee to our charge for hiring the chapel. Please don't book the registrars until everything has been agreed with us and we've pencilled you in.
