An excellent venue for a smaller informal wedding reception

We found this venue through hitched and had our wedding reception there. We went for the room at the top and after having an afternoon sit down meal for 20 we had an evening reception for 60. This is a fantastic venue for something smaller and informal yet still with plenty of style, great food and superb service. March 2003

Excellent for a small reception

We had our wedding reception (30 guests) in The Room at the Top in September 2001, each time we go back we relive that day. The service is just right, the food simple and elegant and the wine list great for most budgets. It is one pub in London where we hanker to have an excuse to go back. Excellent.

Superb food and service

I was lucky enough to be invited to the X Keys for a meal recntly and I have to say it was superb. The chef managed to achieve that perfect mix between superb presentation and amazing taste. The staff were also very attentive and also managed to achieve the slightly difficult task of being on hand whenever they were needed without being intrusive. Even if you decide this may not be your preferred wedding reception location, I would stongly recommend it as perfect for an evening out with friends. Maybe your hen night?
