Facilities and Capacity

As you celebrate your nuptials, you and your partner can exchange vows or dance under The Brampton Halt's famed marquee.

This elegant area can accommodate various seating arrangements. These may vary from:

  • A theatre setting with up to 80 of your loved ones
  • A round reception with up to 70 guests
  • For standing drinks reception, you may mingle with up to 120 of your closest friends.

One of the unique things about our marquee is that you can decorate the space to suit your style and theme.

Enjoy a private photoshoot across the manicured lawn. This spacious area provides a romantic and botanical backdrop with rich green hedges and charming pathways.

Our chefs can prepare a range of food options for your wedding breakfast, from Pan Fried Gnocchi Al Arrabbiata and Seafood Linguine to the Curious Dirty Burger and the Curious Rainbow Salad. We cater for all dietary requirements and have smaller plated options for our younger guests.

Each dish may be paired with sparkling wine, cocktails, mocktails, soft drinks and more.

My wedding on 21st April 2025 at the Brampton Halt

My now husband and I, had the most wonderful day celebrating our matrimony at the Brampton Halt on Easter Monday this year. I was a slight “bridezilla”, if I do say so myself but Sadie, Lauren and the team were so helpful in fixing all my queries and concerns. In terms of organisation, Lily had excellent communication skills over email and in meetings making sure to involve me every step of the way.

After arriving at the Halt, we started with some welcome drinks of Prosecco and Peroni, allowing people to mingle, settle in and find their seats for the 3- course meal that followed which was delicious and authentically British.

After speeches on the provided microphone the DJ began and the party started on the dance floor.

As evening guests arrived, the team brought out a BBQ buffet with burgers, sausages and chicken accompanied with coleslaw, fries and green salad.

We came the morning of the wedding to set up the venue allowing us to have as much creative freedom as we wished. It was a lovely spring day where all the sides of the marquee were open to let the breeze in. As night time came the star lights on the ceiling gave the room such an ethereal feel continuing to make it such a special day.

The best team! The best day! Just the best!!

Honestly can’t fault the team here at the Brampton. We use the pub anyway and always knew this venue was for us! Wedding was Saturday 14th June 2025 and the weather was lovely!
We got married down at the lake with drinks then came up to use the marquee for a meal. The food was impeccable and nothing like the underwhelming wedding food I’ve had in the past. The hog roast in the evening was 10/10 especially after a few cocktails 🍸
I can’t thank the staff at the halt enough for their efficient booking process and honest communication throughout. The team on the day were amazing too and bless them it was hard work but they made it seem effortless. Genuinely so grateful!
Folks are missing a trick by not using venues like this to host their wedding. It was about £450 for the hire which seemed crazy to me considering other quotes were about 10x that. We were worried that quality would then be affected but quite the opposite. Best outcome imaginable. Get it booked ladies and gents!! You won’t regret it!!
Now to enjoy married life 😁😁😁

Great Venue for small weddings

We held our wedding reception in the Marquee at the Brampton Halt and had the most amazing day! We couldn't be happier we chose the Brampton as our venue. The staff and events team were great in the run up to the big day, and on the day everything went smoothly and to plan.

The food was great, and the location was perfect for wedding photo's in the grounds of the pub. We got a lot of feedback from our guests saying they really enjoyed the food / venue and could see why we chose it over a 'stuffy' dedicated wedding venue.

For any smaller wedding party (sub 100 people) it was really nice having the general atmosphere of a busy pub garden in the background and having other patrons and staff congratulating us during the day.
